Louis' POV
-
I've been smiling like an idiot since yesterday. I am glad Harry and I were becoming friends. He seems like a great person.
Right now, I am tying my belt. I had to greet the other royals who were arriving today. As I fixed my hair and left the room, I saw Harry and Sophia talking. They seem to be good friends as well as siblings.
"Good morning, Prince," Sophia beamed and Harry looked towards me and smiled. I returned the smile.
"Good morning." I nodded. I couldn't help but notice that pretty smile of Harry's and his little dimples. He looks like the most beautiful and happy person in the world.
"How are you today?" Sophia asked, offering a friendly smile.
"I should be asking you that. I'm good, thank you." I replied with a little chuckle.
"Lou," I heard my sister call. I looked at her as she walked towards us.
"Good morning, Felicite." Sophia looked at her.
"Sophia, good morning!" She saw her and pulled her in a hug. Harry looked confused but there was still a hint of a smile on his face.
"I didn't know you two had gotten closer," Harry asked.
"We spent the whole day together yesterday. We have a lot in common." Felicite replied.
"Like stupid guys who have no will to socialize and are a pain in the arse," Sophia added and Felicite chuckled. Harry and I frowned, still smiling a little, knowing that Sophia was only joking.
"Oh, shut up," Harry huffed. His pout just made the two girls laugh more. I inadvertently rested my palm on Harry's shoulder. He didn't seem to mind so I kept it there as I talked.
"I should be on my way, father's expecting me outside." The other three nodded understandingly and I offered a smile as I left the hall and made my way out.
"I should join him too," I heard Filicite say. I didn't stop, I figured she'd just catch up later and she did. We stood there for a minute as the horses walked in. The horse that stood in front of all was brown with a white patch on its head. On it was the prince. He had brown hair with hazel eyes. All of us stood there with greeting smiles as all the horses stopped and the people got off.
"Prince James." I greeted. He had a friendly smile and a beard.
We all met each other and brought them in.
By the next few days, all the princes had arrived for the tournament and regular training had started. Harry wasn't all that good at fighting, neither did he like it. He claims the fighting is stupid and people expect fights all the time or else they won't have so many barriers. I like the way he thinks. He is just so kind and sweet and he wishes everyone would be just as warmhearted. He doesn't like any kind of violence towards anyone or anything. I love that about him. If everyone thought like him, the world would be a better place, but they don't.
I was walking through the hallway when I saw Harry sneaking out. I narrowed my eyes. I was confused as to what he was going to do so I followed him. He walked out to the stables, trying not to get noticed. What is he trying to do?
He got to his horse and held a gentle hand on its head. He then walked out and the horse followed shortly. I took my horse and followed him out. He got on it and started to lead it somewhere.
I followed them in the familiar woods and soon enough, I knew exactly where they were headed. When the waterfall was audible, Harry got off his horse and walked in. Like last time, he took a seat on the big rock. I got off my horse and looked at him.
I moved all the handing leaves from my way but stopped when I heard a squeak from Harry. I looked up at him and the view I got was just magical. There were multiple, colorful butterflies covering Harry. They roamed around him as if he were the most beautiful flower there. He looked back at me with a smile.
"Help." He squealed and I smiled at him coming closer to him. I grabbed his waist pulling him closer. The butterflies didn't leave but furthered away.
"How did you know I was here?" I asked.
"I heard your horse." He said as if it was the most obvious thing, and perhaps, it was. I nodded.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Just came here. No reason," He smiled ahead at the view. His eyes sparkling and reflecting the water. His eyes were so green. They were the same color as the leaves of the most beautiful tree there. It was like a whole forest existed in his eyes. I smiled at the sight of him. His lips formed the most adorable smile and his dimples are just so...everything. He bit down on his lip and I followed his gaze to a deer drinking from the pond formed under the waterfall.
"Do you think there is something there?" Harry asked. I looked back at him and noticed he wasn't looking at the deer anymore.
"Where?" I asked. He nodded his face towards something and I followed it to the waterfall.
"Is there something in the pound?" I asked uncertain.
"Waterfall." Harry corrected.
"Is there something on the other side of the fall?" I asked and he nodded. "I guess there is only one way to find out, yeah?" I extended my arm as I got up. He took it and we walked to the waterfall.
"What if there isn't anything, then we'll just be wet." I had to yell so he could hear me over the running water.
He smiled at me in a mischievous way, "Then we'll be wet, I guess." He replied. I smiled and bit my lip. I reached my hand that Harry wasn't holding to the water and in. There wasn't an end so I reached in more until we were running in toward the other end.
