"Babes, I really don't know about this... are your parents even going to like me?" you say nervously, fiddling with the cuff of Draco's sleeve.

Draco just chuckles, planting a kiss on your hairline, and running his fingers through your hair.

"Darling, they are going to love you. And if they don't I'll still love you just the same," Draco says, before ringing the doorbell. You tighten your grip around his arm, trying to take deep breaths.

It was the Christmas season, and instead of you and Draco staying at Hogwarts this year, he thought it was a great idea for you to finally meet his parents. His dad and him were finally on okay-ish terms, and he really wanted his mom to meet you. You guys had been together since the third year and you still had yet to meet his parents!! But you were extremely nervous. Would they hate you for being a -

"Draco!!" someone cries, and you snap out of your thoughts, and look to see a smiling woman with pale skin and long black hair with white streaks. Draco smiles brightly, before, going in for a half hug, still holding onto you. She cups his face, as he pulls away, and smiles.

"My goodness, you have gotten so big!" she exclaims, and her eyes finally land on you. Her hands fly to her mouth in a gasp.

"You must be Y/n!! Oh my goodness, it is so nice to meet you!! I'm Nacrissa, and you can call me Mom, or Nacrissa, or whatever you feel comfortable with!!" she smiles brightly, before pulling you into a hug. You are so relieved she likes you, and you catch Draco smiling happily too.

"Come in, come in, get out of the cold!! We'll have Kreature get your bags!" Nacrissa says, holding the door open and you guys walk on inside. Their house was dark and gloomy, but still someone gorgeous. You could see a fire crackling in the room to the left, and a dark staircase went up, before hitting a landing and continuing on. The floors were dark wood and Nacrissa's heels echoed across the floor.

"Here, here, take off your coats - or keep them on, I know it's a little chilly!!" Nacrissa says, before moving to the staircase.

"LUCIUS!! YOUR SON AND HIS GIRLFRIEND ARE HERE GET DOWN HERE NOW!" she snarls. Draco chuckles, as he helps you take your coat off, before hanging it on the rack. Nacrissa turns back to you and smiles.

"Here, we can go by the fire, it's much warmer in here!" she exclaims, gesturing to the sitting room. You link your arms with Draco's, feeling a buzz of nerves in the big house. Draco leads you into the room and plops down on a loveseat placed in front of the fire. You squish in next to him, as he wraps an arm around you, and you cuddle close.

"Gosh!! You guys are adorable!! Oh, Y/n!! What are your pronouns?!" Nacrissa asks, and Draco groans.

"Mom! You can't just ask that!" he seethes. Nacrissa furrows her brows at him.

"I thought that's what the cool people are doing now!! I'm she/her and I think it's pretty cool! I even put it in my TikTok bio!!" she exclaims matter-of-factly. You laugh a bit, fiddling with Draco's fingers.
