Request *spoilers* - draco dates y/n after astoria dies but he only dates her to not be single but eventually he falls in love with y/n and we become scorpius his step mum

You make your way through Diagon Alley, doing some last minute shopping for the week. You had ran out of ink, and wanted some new quills too.  You also needed more food for the week, since you were running low.

"Okay, I got ink, I got meat, I got some cereal, some - " as you're reading off your list, you smash into someone.

"Woah!!" they cry, grabbing your hand to stop you from falling.

"Oh my gosh I'm so, so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going and - Draco?" you say, as your eyes meet the storm gray ones.  Draco cracks a smile.

"Well, L/n, it's been awhile hasn't it?" he chuckles, and you snort.

"Yeah, almost six years," you reply, and he laughs again.  You and Draco were pretty good friends back in school.  You guys even dated for a few months.  But he chose Astoria, and you chose Harry... until he decided Ginny was better that is...

"How's Astoria?" you ask, and Draco's face drops a bit.  He runs a hand through his still bleach blonde hair, looking at his shoes.

"Oh... um... she actually passed a few months ago," he mumbles.  Your eyes go wide, but before you can say anything, a little boy comes running up.

"Look!! I found it!!  Mr. Ollivander said this was the perfect wand!!" he exclaims.  Draco smiles down at him, crouching down.  You watch the interaction between the two.  The little boy had light blonde hair similar to Draco's.  You tilt your head at the pair, until Draco stands, wrapping and arm around the boy's shoulders.

Then it clicks and you gasp.

"I-Is... is this your son?" you say, and Draco gives a nod.  You look down at the little boy in shock.

"Scorpius, this is Y/n," Draco introduces, and Scorpius furrows his brows, before looking up at his dad.

"Hey!! You told me about her!!  My dad says that you guys were friends, and used to go to Hogsmeade together!" he exclaims with a bright smile, and you laugh.  You meet Draco's eyes and can see the happy smile behind them.

"Yes, we did do that."

"And he said that you would mix up the Harry Potter's potion in... oh yeah, Professor Snape's class!!" he shouts again, and box you and Draco burst out laughing.

"We did do that, didn't we?" you laugh, and Draco shakes his head.

"Well, we better get going kiddo, almost dinner time.  Hey, how's Potter by the way?" Draco asks, picking up Scorpious.  You give him a soft smile.
