Okay this was a scenario I was running through my head to fall asleep (cause I do that baha) with my crush, and DUDE the next day the SAME THING happened to another friend of mine... like.... wtf universe I said ME and my crush not HER and HER crush.... *sigh*

Also kinda self indulging because this crush I have kinda hit me outta nowhere.  Like the feelings gradually builded, and I really tried to push them away (if anyone has any idea how to do that please tell me I'm desperate), so this is kinda me writing about my crush, but it's Draco who's also my crush so yeah :)

You plop down at the desk, pulling out my notebook, and beginning to copy the ingredients from the board

"Hey Y/n," a voice says, and you look up to see Draco sit down next to you. You swallow hard, trying to not show your nerves.

"Hey Malfoy," you reply, turning back to face the board and continuing to copy your notes. Draco leans over, pushing into you, and you laugh.

"Shove off Malfoy," you chuckle, as he smirks, and pulls away to copy from your notes. You shift uncomfortably in your seat, trying to not let him know how flustered you were.

Since December of last year, you and Draco had become friends. Or what you thought were friends... you're pretty sure you were friends. Out of nowhere one day he just started talking to you. And you guys clicked pretty easily. Fast forward ten months and you guys were still friends, except now you had feelings that you were really, really trying to avoid. But of course he was making it terribly hard.

"Draco, just look at the board!!" you cry, elbowing him in the stomach. He scoffs, scooching his chair closer to you, and leaning over your shoulder to look at your notes.

"Your notes just look so much nicer than mine!" Draco argues, as he continues leaning over your shoulder.

You're trying your hardest to not blush, as you finish up your notes, and Draco continues to lean up against you.

"Afternoon class," Snape drones on, as he explains the potion, and then tells you guys to partner up and get the ingredients.  You heave a sigh, as Luna was sick today, so it looked like you'd be doing the potion on your own.

"Hey Y/n, you want to grab the ingredients and I'll look over the instructions?" Draco calls, not looking up from his notes.  You blink a few times in shock, and confused what he meant.  He looks up and give you that cute half smirk.

"What?  We're partners right?" he asks with a chuckle.  You give a nervous laugh, and nod.  Draco smiles again, shaking his head at you, before looking back down at his notes.  You swallow hard, as you go and grab an armful of ingredients, and setting them carefully on the table.

"Okay, first we need to crush the eye of newt, before adding in root of a mandrake," Draco reads, moving to grab the mandrake, so you grab the newt.

You guys work, and in twenty minutes the potion is finished.

"We're done Professor Snape!" Draco calls, waving his arm in the air.  Snape struts over, and leans down to inspect the caldron.  You anxiously wait for him to give his verdict.
