Summary - you overhear Blaise and Draco talking about you being too clingy so you decide to back off

Request *spoiler warning* - So could we be like distracting ourselves bc we're too clingy even though we've been dating for awhile we overthink and then draco like corners us against a wall and kisses down our neck (because neck kisses>>) while asking us why we're avoiding him and we fess up and then he reassures us an we cuddle the rest of the night or smth like that - @sssssoleillll

You finish brushing through your hair, before checking yourself in the mirror and then heading down to the common room. You enter the common room and notice Draco wasn't there. That was weird. He was usually on time, especially when you guys were going to Hogsmeade. You shrug, as you head up to the boys dorm, and in the prefect hallway.

You finally come to Draco's door, giddy to see him, but as you go to knock you freeze.

"Dude, she is literally always around!! We never just hang out alone!!" you hear Blaise exclaim from behind the door. Who were they talking about?

"Honestly though. It gets annoying. I mean, sure she's great, but all the time!!" Draco groans. What... were they talking about you?!

"So annoying. Well, I gotta meet up with the boys, you're seeing her today right?" Blaise asks, and you can hear the slight annoyance in his voice. Were you really annoying? And too clingy? You sniffle a bit, feeling tears prick your eyes.

But you just shake it off. That was fine. If Draco wanted space, you would give him space.

~Draco's POV~

I had been looking for Y/n literally everywhere. Where the hell could she have gone? We always met in the Common Room. I shake my head, and decide to see if she was in the library.

I walk in and immediately spot her. She's at a table, laughing with Hermione, Luna and Ginny. Wow, was I confused. I walk over, and we make eye contact, but she doesn't say anything. Okay weird. She usually jumped up in excitement, and gave me a huge hug...

"Hey," I say with an awkward wave. Y/n finally looks at me and gives a small smile.

"Oh hey. Okay, so Hermione, what if - " Y/n begins, but I don't hear the rest of her sentence because my mind is clouded with confusion. What was happening?!

"Um... weren't we going to go to Hogsmeade today?" I ask, scratching the back of my neck. Y/n gives me a quizzical look.

"Yeah, but Blaise said you were missing hanging out with the boys, so I thought I'd let you," she says with a nonchalant shrug. Oh my gosh, my girlfriend had been possessed. That was the only logical answer to what was happening.

"So... we're not going to Hogsmeade?" I ask, and Y/n laughs.

"No, go hang out with your friends!! See you at dinner!" she smiles with a wave, before turning back to her friends.
