"You did amazing! I'm not kidding. You blew them all out of the water." HyunJin chirps loudly as he glances over his shoulder at me.

"I messed up. It was obvious I messed up." I roll my eyes as I trail behind them all. I really did mess up, but so did everyone else. I can't lie though, it's kind of nice getting compliments from them. It makes my heart flutter.

"Calm down—I'm sure the people across the street can hear you." MinHo chuckles as he pushes HyunJin forward lightly.

"Good! Rain did amazing for her checkin! She was the best one there!" HyunJin spins around playfully before stumbling into Felix.

"Be quiet." I mumble as I lower my head, embarrassed beyond belief. Everyone who walks passed us keeps staring.

"What time is it?" JiSung questions as he tugs his phone out of his pocket.

"It's a little after eight." Felix responds as he does his best to try and keep HyunJin from running into people.

"We have to go practice. We've been putting it off all day." MinHo groans as he opens the door to Chan's studio. He motions us all inside.

"Did anyone get their five hours of practice in?" ChangBin chuckles as MinHo drags himself toward the couch.

"I think most of us got most it in. JiSung was technically practicing his vocals when he was working with Rain. The same goes for Felix, HyunJin, and MinHo when they were helping her with her dance. SeungMin and JeongIn did for sure. Don't worry about practicing now. It's not a big deal. We can make it up later. The important thing is you guys help her get her dance done so she's ready for the eval." Chan insists as he spins around to face us.

"In that case—want to go practice now?" HyunJin turns toward me with a bright smile.

"Let her relax for at least a few minutes." JiSung scolds as he motions me toward the couch.

"I'm okay. I need as much time as I can get to practice. Last month they moved the eval up and I didn't have enough time to perfect everything. I don't want that to happen again this month." I mumble as I glance toward the door.

I'm exhausted from my anxiety attack earlier, but that doesn't matter. Exhausted or not—I need to get this dance down. I have to have nearly perfect vocals or a nearly perfect dance in order to make it through the evals without being threatened.

"Nope—sit down. You have to rest. I insist." Felix states firmly as he pushes me down onto the couch gently.

"Distract her." JeongIn chuckles as he sits down on the coffee table in front of me. He makes a silly face before Felix pushes him aside.

"How'd it go? I figured it'd be too crowded to go join. I didn't want to make it anymore overwhelming for you." Chan tries to change the topic of the conversation while still working toward their goal of getting me to rest.

"It went okay. I mean—it could've been better. I messed up a few times, but I didn't get yelled at. They were a bit worried about me getting the dance down in time though." I shrug as I glance down at my lap.

"She's lying. She was amazing. She nailed the dance—even the part MinHo taught her right before her checkin." Felix rolls his eyes as he lingers near Chan's chair.

"I didn't nail it. I missed the timing on some of it." I object as I glare over at Felix.

"Ignore her. She's being dramatic. She slayed it." HyunJin shakes his head as he leans against ChangBin.
