Chapter 8-The date

~Victoria's POV~

He said he is picking me up at 7:00. Its 6:00 so I have an hour till he picks me up. For my hair I keep it down. For my clothes I put on a hot pink crop top that has long sleeves and I put on my heart shpaed locket along with my white shorts. I keep my make up natural. Then i put on my favorite combat boots.

"Honey, I need you to come downstairs for a second."

"Hey is- what is he doing here?" Well isnt this a suprise Jack the ass is here.

"Hello love I just wanted to see if you are busy." I rember liking that accent.

"  Well what a shame I actually am busy."

"Doing what might I ask?"Just in time the doorbell rings.

"Oh that must be my date." To add to the drama I add a fake pout.

"Hey Stevey, guess who dopped by, Jack."

"He did well to bad we have a date and must I say you look lovely."

"Why thank you, shouldnt we get going?"

"We should.

He walks me to his car and opens the door. He jogs over to the passenger side and starts the car.

"So where are we going?"

"Its a surprise."

"Come on you know I hate surprises."

"I know thats the fun of it."

"Well can you at least give me a hint?"

"Nope your going to guess it."

"Fine."

While we we're driving I kept rembering that this is for the bet. I dont know if I should confront him or not. What if it isn't for the bet? I dought it. As long as I dont fall for him then I wont get hurt. Besides isn't he dating that bitch Lilly. I should ask him so I make sure nothing is going to hapen between us.

"Hey aren't you dating lilly?"

"No, broke up with her."

"Okay." Why would he break up with her. Last time I checkd they were sucking each others face off in math but, me being me I didnt question it.

"We're here." Holy shit.

"My dream date, how in the hell did you know about my dream date?"

"I asked Miranda. " So let me tell you my dream date. Okay so for my dream date I wanted to go to an abonded fair and climb the fairis wheele and sit on top of the wheele, and look at the stars.

"Remind me to thank Miranda."

"I dont get a thank you." He says while pouting.

"Thank you."

"So lets get cilmbing."

We start climbing and when we get to the top seat we sit down.

"I never imagined that you would take me on my dream date. "

"Well you cant imagine the future." Let me get this staright I never blush and guess what I did I blushed.

"Aww... did my little vicky blush." He said in a baby voice.

"Pft... you wish you could have all this." I say motioning towards my
body.

" I mean a guy can dream." There I go blushing agian. I'm glad its dark.

"Hey, Vicky?"

"Yeah."I say still looking at the stars.

"I'm sorry for ditching you."

"it's okay."

"Well do you want to know why I ditched you?"

"I would say no but knowing you you probably are going to tell me. "

"Well I ditched you cause you were poupular and I felt like I was in your shadow."

My face softened and I looked at him and sighed.

"I sorry, I didnt know you felt that way."

"Its okay."

"Bet friends?"

~Steven's POV~

"Best friends?" She asked. I actually aanted to be more than best friends but i knew she didnt feel that way about me. I mean I asked her out in 6th grade and she said no but, you never know. I mean I understand if she doesnt like me but, I like her alot. I started rembering all the times she would laugh when I said something stupid. After awhille of thinking I said yes. She grinned and said,
"I knew you couldnt resist."

"I mean who could."

"I can think of someone." I scoffed.

"Like who?"

"Jack, which reminds me I heard you and jack talking in the hall..." I froze. I really hope she didn't hear us.

"Yeah..."

"Did you take me on a date for the bet?"

"No, I just didnt want him to hurt you."

" How would he hurt me?"

"Well before we made the bet, he was talking about trying to get you back."she scoffs.

"Like I would get back with him."

"Yeah, I know."

We sit and stare at the stars. I didn't want to ruin the silence so I, just sit there.  After a few moments I broke the slience.

"Hey vicky rembered that favor you owe me?"

" Yeah... why? "

"Yeah well do me a favor and kiss me."

" Are you joking?"

"No."

" Umm, I dont-" I interrupted her by kissing her. She froze but, after a while she kissed back.  Her lips were soft. I licked her bottom lip for entrance and she opened. I smiled into the kiss. Stupid air, I hate you we were in perfect snyc to.

" What happened to best friends? "

"Well you see it wouldn't be a pefect date if I didnt kiss you now would it?"

"What time is it?"

" 12:12."

"Hey rember that time when I told that I anted kiss my boyfriend at this time?"

"Yeah." I clenched m jaw cause I knew that since im not her botfriend sh wont kiss me. So, you'd be surprised when she kissed me again.
When we broke apart I asked,"so does this mean that I am your boyfriend? "

"No, I just wanted to kiss you agian just so I could test something."

"What were you testing? "

" I wanted to see if I like you."

"And do you?"

"Well we just have to wait
