I paced back and forth around the back room, my anxiousness growing by the minute, as the clock ticked closer and closer to what I considered possible death for all of us, more worried about Robin getting hurt than anything. I knew that I couldn't back out, though, or they'd definitely all get killed, considering I at least knew more about my fellow Russians than they did. Steve, Dustin, Robin, and Erica all watched me, my girlfriend's eyes following me with worry, until Steve muttered, "Can you please stop that? It's really annoying." I glared at him, and replied in my normal Russian accent, "No. And I doubt it is as annoying as your desperate need for girls to drool all over you. Now that is both annoying and pathetic." Erica giggled, and gave me a high five, and Dustin rolled his eyes. "Could we maybe stop acting like dumbasses? You're both older than me, and I'm still more mature than you.. Jesus." I nearly jumped out of my skin as Robin suddenly shouted, "Let's go!", and grabbed my hand, leading me and the two boys to the roof to make sure Erica got to the room safely.

The four of us crouched low, and after a few minutes, my girlfriend pulled out a Walkie Talkie, and asked, "Erica, do you copy?" Static sounded, and then, Erica replied, "Mm-hmm, I copy." You nerds in position, or what?" Robin replied, "Yeah, we're in position. It's all quiet here, so you've got the green light." Erica said, "Green light. Roger that. Commence Operation Child Endangerment." I tried not to laugh, and had to give it to that kid; She honestly was pretty funny, even if she was annoying. Robin sighed, and asked, "Can we maybe not call it that?" Erica ignored the question, merely responding with, "See you on the other side.. Nerds." After that, silence stretched on for what felt like forever, and my eyes expertly flickered around the area on the ground below, making certain that none of my fellow agents were in sight, knowing our whole insane plan depended on it. I began getting anxious again as the silence kept going, fidgeting a bit, until I felt Robin's fingers lace with mine out of sight of the boys, squeezing my hand gently. "It'll be fine, Ana. I promise. Just take deep breaths, and think of something nice. Okay?" I nodded, and took a few deep breaths, blushing as my mind went to thoughts of kissing her, my anxiety fading a bit.

Suddenly, Erica's voice muttered, "All right, nerds. I'm there." Robin let go of my hand, and I sighed, but knew she couldn't hold my hand the whole time. I wasn't a child, after all. I shoved my hands into my pockets, as she asked Erica, "Do you- Do you see anything?" Erica responded sarcastically, "Yeah, I see those boring boxes you're so excited about." Robin asked, "Any guards?", to which Erica replied, "Negative", causing me to relax a bit more. It would be easier if there were no guards inside the room. Robin asked, "Booby traps?" I laughed quietly as Erica responded, "If I could see them, they'd be pretty shit traps, wouldn't they?" Robin laughed a bit, too, and replied, "Thank you for that." After a few more seconds of silence, Erica said, "I'm in", and Steve groaned, muttering, "Oh, God." After about another minute, the doors to the secret room swung open, and Erica walked out, then said, "Free ice cream for life." I had to give it to her, she was really good at bribery. We all hurried down from the roof, and out the back door, then raced into the secret room.

I watched in horror as Steve pulled out a pocket knife, and sliced one of the boxes open. "What the fuck are you doing, Harrington? Anything could be in there! If you get poisoned, it's your problem." I admit, I was being a bit of an asshole, but I couldn't help it, watching as Robin watched Steve in excitement, hating how he was able to play the hero without being judged. I muttered, "Americans", and ignored them, until he pulled out a glass container full of glowing green liquid. I instantly felt the color drain out of my face, and Steve asked, "What the hell?" Robin asked, "What is that?", and I walked over, trying to snatch the container. "Put it back. Seriously, put it back!" They all looked at me in confusion, and I groaned, as the room shook, and a mechanical noise sounded all around us. Erica whispered, "Booby traps", and Robin grabbed the container away from me and Steve, and said, "Know what? Let's just grab that and go." I opened my mouth to tell them we weren't going anywhere, but they were too busy pushing all the buttons on the console, trying to open the door. "I tried to warn you, geniuses. Now look what you've done.." My eyes widened as I saw the button Steve was about to press, realizing finally what the room we were in was. "Wait-"
