It was a hot day in the compound, so me and my girlfriend Natasha were sitting on the couch watching a movie in the living room when we heard a thump from above us.

“Clint get down before tony yells at you again!” Nat yells to the vents, clint has a weird obsession with the vents.

“Oh please, there’s not a thing metal head can do…” clint was rambling on and on so Nat got up and waited below one of the greeted sections of the vent, she waited until he passed over that area to throw one of her widows bites up there, on a low charge of course. But as soon as it hit him you could hear him scratch like… well a bird. “Owww, NAT WHAT THE HELL!”

“Get down!” she screamed from down below.

“Fine” and all of sudden clint appeared before us.

“Now leave bird brain we are watching a movie,” Nat said.  Hmm, I wonder what his obsession is with the vents? I thought to myself.

Later that night.

I decided I would find out what clints obsession with the vents was. By going up there myself of course. It was late at night and everyone was asleep. Or so I thought, By being up here I had an all-access view of what people were doing. I decided to do a little peaking around. I found tony and bruce up late in the lab, no shock there. Sam and Buckey were playing video games in sams room. Cap was writing a letter to someone? So old school, but also cute, I wonder who it’s for? questions for another day. I went by Wanda and visions room and they were asleep. So I and nat are not the only people who go to bed at a reasonable time. Last but not least was clint. He was on a video call with his family. I wanted to say hi so bad but there was no way to do that without him seeing me, oh screw it.

I quietly removed the panel and peaked my head down. You could tell clint wasn’t expecting it cause when he saw my head he jumped a little.

“Y/N what are doing in the vents?!” he asked as I jumped down. I sent a quick wave to the camera and then looked to clint.

“I wanted to see what they were all about considering you keep going up there. And I must they are neat,” I said to him and kinda gave me a glare, I turned back to the camera and waved again. “Hey, Laura, Lilia and coop, and little Nathan.” and heard ‘ hey, Y/N and hey aunt Y/N and little babbling back in replies.

“Well stay out there mine.”

“Oh calm down bird brain, im going to be up there all the time,” I said quick good-byes with promises me and nat would come out to the farm with clint next time. And left-back to my room.

2 Weeks later

So I had started going up there more often than I thought I would. I was currently in them now, everyone was in the living room watching a movie, as I turned the corner of the vents so I would be crawling over the living room, I started crawling and there was a 4 way coming up. I was about 5 feet from it when I saw something quickly crawl from one end to the other and well I screamed.

“AHHHH CRAWLING BITCH IN THE FUCKING VENTS!!!!” I screamed, and forgetting I was in them I tried to stand and hit my head on the top so hard it caused the section of vents to fall to the ground. Including me. I landed on my back with a groan, that was at least a 6-foot drop.

“Y/N! What the hell are you doing in the vents? I heard steve say.

“Language,” I say as nat comes beside me.

“Are you ok babe?” Nat askes kneeling beside me with a smile on her face.

“Oh yeah, im just great, what the fuck was that!”

“I said stay out of the vents!” Clint said dropping from the vents.

“That was you? You bitchey bird!” I looked to nat who was laughing. “And you knew?!”
She shook her head yes while still laughing. “You who claims to be my girlfriend, talks about me behind my back, in front of my face, bitch” I said with a smile.

“Oh come on it was funny.” she giving me a kiss on the forehead, everyone started laughing with us, well besides tony, he was complaining about how he had to buy new ones. “Come on let’s go get you some ice for your back,” Nat said leaning down to give me a kiss. There’s one thing I knew for sure, I wasn’t going in the vents ever again.
