Error woke up with a start, as a new wave a pain flew over him. Ink seemed to be on a creation spree, much to Error's distaste. Error got up and wasted no time as the voices grew load and annoyed, rushing him to hurry. When he got ready, he headed towards the living room to leave a note for his children, only to see that Jupiter was already awake. He hesitated, before she turned to him. She looked sad, "Going to work?" She asked. He offered her a small smile, before answering. "I won't be back for a few hours. I love you, and I'll see you in a bit. If you need something call Fresh and at no point do any of you leave. Okay?" He said sternly, although he relaxed a bit on the 'okay?' part. Jupiter nodded, and with that he opened a portal and left.
Following Jupiter (not really from her POV)
Jupiter just sighed, whenever Error came back from work he was always super injured. Although he tried to hide it from them, they often saw him with holes in his bones and dust falling off him as he moved, or they would at least see him covered in bandages. These thoughts made Jupiter shiver. She shook her head, before deciding to try to make breakfast. She ended up making toast covered in jam for herself, she also got a cup of apple juice, using her mug that had a space pun on it. She could cook to an extent, but she was very scared that she would mess up when using the stove for any little thing. Because of this, she always preferred the microwave or toaster. She sat to eat her toast, knowing that it was much too early for the others to be awake, (even she would usually sleep in longer) so she only made breakfast for herself.
When she was done eating her toast and drinking her apple juice, she grabbed a tall stool and went to the attic. She grabbed the Echo flower and brought it to her room. Her room had many dark colors, other then the yellow if course. The ceiling was blueish black, but with glow-in-the-dark stars and very thin yellow lines the outlined the constellations. The walls were the same color as the ceiling, except the closer to the floor it was, the more it faded to a pretty purple color. There were space puns on posters, her own personal book shelf on the wall next to the door. On the wall right of the door was her bed, it was the same as her walls, except it had yellow lining the entire blanket, and it also had the same beady things running all the way across the blanket like the end of her scarf, even in the shape of stars. The blanket had something else tho, it had planets that adorned it. However, just like the constellations, these were not labeled. On the wall next to the wall of her bookshelf was her desk. At the end of her bed was her dresser. In the corner of her room right next to her bed was a hammock. This special area was situated specially to look like outerspace. It had a see through sheet next to it that was black-ish purple. There were other things as well, (use your imagination) that was at the hammock area. Jupiter put the Echo flower on her desk, grabbed one of her Journals, and grabbed one of her books about plants.
There was an actual library in the house, however Jupiter would get specially gifted books that were just for her on her birthday. Error usually kept an eye out for any books that would interest Jupiter, which wasn't particularly hard, but he always made sure to grab the ones that were limited edition, or adhered to what she was especially into then. Error always tried to go the extra mile for them. Although, constantly working and being injured makes that very hard. Jupiter would usually get books, although she had a secret love of space pop up books and books about plants. Paper Jam would usually get art supplies, limited edition colors, or huge canvases. Gradient was not picky. Even Jupiter would not be able to hide their distaste if you got them something bad, but Gradient would just take whatever he got and work with it, not wanting to make anyone sad or annoyed. This made it kinda hard for Error to find things he really really liked. Gradient liked dark and kinda twisted art, even though he was quite kind himself. (Not sure this true but it is here) He loves using colors on the dark spectrum, colors that weren't considered light colors basically. The 'dark colors' he used were actually pretty vibrant and bright when he uses them. Because of this, Gradient would usually also get art supplies, but he would also get actual art. Gradient was actually pretty picky on what art pieces he wanted, but he loved one artist in particular for their use of dark colors, dark vibes, and dark meanings they use in their paintings. Once Error found Gradient's love for this artist, it wasn't hard to figure out what to gift Gradient. Ember is pretty easy. Ember loves touch, as well as watching plants and living creatures. Error has been thinking about getting a cat for some time now, since cats seem to like Error for some reason, but he keeps getting worried that it'll die. He has a plan tho, he's going to get a cat blessed by the original Reapertale Toriel. This will make it so the cat won't die from Ember. A blessing straight from the goddess of life should protect the pet from any God of death, unless purposefully reaped with a weapon. But this is a discussion for another chapter.
