Hello! I was talking to someone in a comment section on this book and it got my creative juices thinking and I just couldn't go to sleep so I'm just dumping them all here and giving them to you.
First up is PJ!
Pj likes doing weird proportions when they draw. For instance, Candygore. I bring that up because we discussed candygore when we spoke.
Anyways, Candygore is basically gorey art, except with bright colors and sweets mixed in. Not all Candygore Pj would like, but I saw a drawing where someone's torso was chopped up, and thought that fit Pj pretty well.
It's not all disgusting or gorey stuff like Candygore, however. Ever saw someone exaggerate a nose or make legs strangly small? Pj would be all over that as well. They would also have an intrest in abstract art, but things like landscape art, or portraits are not their thing.
It doesn't need to make you scratch your head though, they would love attack on titan, for instance.
Next, we have Gradient!
As I've said before, Gradient loves the dark color pallette. Dark colors with Dark vibes/themes are their go-to. Their art also is a lot cleaner than Pj's, since he draws more like digital artists, while Pj is usually more of a pencil drawer. There's more to the two, but we're speaking more the drawing/painting kind of art right now.
Gradient would also like attack on titan, but for a different reason. They would have an appreciation for Candygore, but probably wouldn't draw any themselves. Understand?
I can't think of any really good examples right now for Gradient, but if I do, I'll make another character comment about it in another chapter or something. Basically, I'll mention it.
Gradient also really likes it when people use incredibly dark colors to express a happy moment, they like the subversion from the norm.
Also, Gradient and PJ have binge watched Attack on Titan together before, probably multiple times.
I know Jupiter and Ember don't have a passion for drawing like Gradient and Pj, but they still appreciate art, so I wanted to talk about their favorite art pieces!
Jupiter loves art of constellations and of the galaxy. To be honest, they would probably like a photographer more than an artist. Plus, they like the pictures in the scientific books. I've already spoken how she loves pop up books!
Ember, however, would love art of landscapes. And would probably paint landscapes themselves so they could always appreciate it without having to destroy the place. They would definitely take to painting more than Jupiter or Gradient would. They also like children's books for the cute pictures. Even so, they would love fantasy books, loving the world they could get lost in. However, I can't imagine them spending whole days in libraries to read. Would probably spend the whole day in libraries playing DnD tho, lol.
One more thing about art!
Gradient, despite preferring digital-ish art, really likes using Pastels. I'm not talking about the colors, I'm talking about that chalky substance you can also draw with.
Also, PJ likes making things with clay. It's usually pots, and are often very weird looking, but they don't mind! They love the challenge to paint on weirdly shaped pots, and it's not the only thing they've made. They made a weird mug once that handle broke that just hangs out in Error's room, the handle just sitting inside the mug since Error didn't want to throw part of the mug away, and the mug was given to him as a gift anyways.
Well, let's move on from art and onto favorite shows/movies!
PJ'S favorite shows would be ones that touch on people's perception of things. For instance, Looney Toons, but also Derren Brown: Miracle (Netflix),
My Roomate is a Cat, WATAMOTE, and Cells At Work! (All from Crunchyroll)Also, things with plotwists, or things that confuse you.
For instance, Wakfu or A Series of Unfortunate Events (both from netflix)Each of these shows are very different, but if you want a grasp on what she likes, (as well as some show recommendations) feel free to watch these!
Gradient's favorite shows? Hmm...
Overlord and Goblin Slayer (both from Crunchyroll. Goblin Slayer is NOT for the faint of heart),
Violet Evergarden (Netflix. Uses more bright colors, but really sad, and you shouldn't watch if you're sensitive to certain... triggers.)So if you want some darker shows, watch these! Honestly, Overlord is the tamest out of these titles, trust me. If you want more information on each of these, leave a comment, and I'll tell you the triggers in each, and give you a quick summary.
Ember, meanwhile, would like more open-world explorer type of shows.
Like Kino's Journey, but also, kinda, Restaurant to Another World, and Magi (all from Crunchyroll), as well as Gurren Lagann (Netflix. A old master-piece in my opinion)
But they would also like a slice of life shows.
Like... well... Restourant to Another World. But also How to Keep a Mummy, My Roomate is a Cat, The Devil is a Part-Timer! (All on crunchy roll), Saiki K., and The Little Witch Academia (does that count? Anyways, all Netflix).
They would also like funny shows like Nailed It! (Netflix. 10/10 you guys should watch, it's hilarious.)
I'm not exactly sure what Jupiter would like, they would probably be more interested in reading the books than watching the shows. I think they all would have an appreciation for comedy and magic shows though. Like The Carbenaro Effect (on TV) or Jeff Dunham (Netflix)
Also, I haven't confirmed any of this with the actual creators of these characters, so know that none of this is Canon in other stories you go to.
So there you go! Some free information on these characters! As well as some show suggestions! I didn't spread out more than Netflix and Crunchyroll since it is literally past midnight and I don't want to tire myself out that much. My eyes are already dying.
Bye guys! See ya next time! Hope you enjoyed! Etc. Etc. Lol! Talk to yall alter! Peace!
Edit: Ayo! Been a few days, like 2 or 3 since I typed this out! Went back and finished the many, many spelling mistakes. I was really tired then, so I'm sorry. Again, if you want to know any possible triggers from ANY of these shows, let me know.
Saying that, get ready for spoilers if you read any comments on this particular chapter.
If you want to know any more about the characters as well, let me know! I may or may not answer them, but I most likely will, lol.
