huffing and puffing, jungwon came to an abrupt stop upon reaching the rooftop. his eyes scanned the surroundings and his heart skipped a beat when he spotted arah. he was right; this was where he would find the person he was looking for, standing with her back turned and her gaze fixed on the sky.

today was the day when he had to do everything to uncover the truth. jungwon had spent countless sleepless nights pondering who the girl in the black hoodie, known as arah, truly was.

"i'll follow,"

his brow furrowing upon hearing those words as he slowly walked towards arah. when he approached her he gently touched her shoulder, startling her and causing her to step back.

"don't be scared, it's just me," jungwon spoke softly.

arah remained frozen, her eyes widening. jungwon locked eyes with her, slowly drowning in the depths of her gaze. but when he remembered what he had to do, he quickly regained his composure.

"are you really not going to tell me who you are?" he began. "because honestly, you've left me incredibly confused. i constantly wonder who you truly are in my life."

jungwon let out a faint laugh and turned his gaze in another direction. "the truth is... i don't remember ever meeting someone named arah. don't get me wrong, but who are you to do this to me? i don't even know you."

"and why... why do i feel everything i feel when i'm with her, mirrored in those moments when our eyes meet?" he continued.

"arah, please... open up your secret doors. i want to know you beyond your name," jungwon pleaded, his voice and eyes filled with sincerity.

but arah averted her gaze and was about to walk away when jungwon held her wrist, causing her to pause and look at him. he locked eyes with her, refusing to let go.

"i won't let you go until you tell me who you truly are."
