karl knew that his penmanship was average. it wasn't a pretty, angelic cursive type of writing, but nor was it an unreadable chicken scratch. but, he was proud to say that it was a mixture of both. his words flowed together nicely, connected along the bottoms; he left no space on the bottom line between the a and the c he had just written. it was a type of cursive where he looped his l's and t's, even waiting till the end of the sentence to dot his i's.

he would also agree if someone were to call it a chicken scratch mess. because it was a mess. he only wrote to remember, to have some faith in himself that he would look at it in the future and go: 'oh hey i remember that!' it was a mess of his thoughts and emotions to say the least. karl wrote most everything in a hurry, causing his words to be jammed together or his grammar made no sense when rereading. hopefully he could write it all down though in case he forgot - before he forgot about it.

but at least someone else could read his handwriting.

"what are you writing about? another one of your fantasy story things?"

shit.

karl shrugged his shoulders. dropped the pen that he held while writing allowed him to bring his fingers through his brown hair. he hoped that his friend couldn't tell that he was stressed. a small sigh left his parted lips, "it's nothing. just another dream i had." he had to end the whole truth behind his time traveling tendencies. so, to others, it was just some silly little meanings behind the lucid dreams he was having.

"what are you even doing here, sap? i thought that you were skipping around with george or something," the brunette asked, looking up his shoulder at sapnap. the younger liked to crash at karl's place a lot. considering that they were very close friends, and sapnap didn't really have his own house anyways. it was not a surprise for karl to wake up and find the other rested on his couch. it was usually during the nights though that the two ran into each other. so, now karl was surprised on why he had a visitor during the day.
