Layne

"Balot na balot, girl?" I creased my forehead at pinasadahan ang suot ko ngayon.

I scoffed. I shot back.

She rolled her eyes playfully and giggled. I glanced Finnegan, who's busy serving drinks.

Seriously, why is he even here every night?

I rolled my eyes and sighed before tearing my gaze off of the bar.

"Kalma lang," Malayah patted my shoulder. "How about you already go near him? Claim your man, babe. She gave me a small smile.

"My man? Finnegan and I aren't even a thing, Alayah. Hell I care if someone flirts with him."

"Whatever you say," She gave me a small smile. "But don't get carried away with his words and moves, lalo na't hindi mo sure kung ano meron kayo."

"Alayah, please. He's not doing anything, it's not what it looks like, okay? Wala pa yata 2 months kami magkakilala." I rolled my eyes. "He's not flirting with me."

Tinapik ko yung tuhod nya, "I'll order drinks." She was about to take out her wallet but I stick my tongue out on her. "It's on me, Malayah."

"But you paid last time," She said but I shook my head and walked towards the bar. I combed my hair with my fingers before I leaned in the counter.

Finnegan smiled at me immediately and left the other girls he was talking to with. "Baby," He scanned my body and he gave me a satisfied smile. "I guess you don't want me to get mad." He chuckled.

I visibly rolled my eyes, "Don't be so full of yourself, Finnegan. I dressed for myself."

His smile didn't left his face, "As you should, Layne. Don't dress for other people, even for me."

My heart wanted to explode because of what he said. I noticed that the others girls was also halted at lalo nang nainlove kay Finnegan. How dare he use those kind of words where a lot of people can hear.

"Your order?" He asked.

"Whiskey Sour, lima." I told him and watched his expression. Is he always smiley? I mean, to every customer, every night?

"Okay, go back to your table. I'll bring it to you and your friends," He gave me a assuring smile but I shook my head.

"I can do it myself,"

I'll sit with you." And he did sit with me for the rest of the night.
