There were henged shadow clones stationed all around the stadium. Security was at it's highest. With the recent USJ attack, they had to be especially vigilant. They couldn't afford to display weakness now.

The original version of himself watched from a distance. He wasn't in any of the UA facilities, in fact. His clones would suffice as security and if something happened he always had his hiraishin.

Tobirama had another job to do.

The Hero Killer was in Hosu.

He had a mission to stop him.

Emnine stared into the bathroom mirror. The glass was cracked, broken, and his fragmented reflection stared mockingly at him.

He tensed—a sudden pain rippling through their body—nausea suddenly rising in them.

She keeled over the sink.

Fluidity was one of their quirks. It was supposed to make their body more adaptable, to lower the chances of quirk rejection.

These eyes—-

They rejected her.

They poisoned her body.

Fluidity was supposed to fix that.

Instead it made them feel off-balanced.

They could no longer control Fluidity.

Forced shifting back and forth caused hormone imbalance. Whiplash. Dysphoria.

Uchiha Izuna was female.

Izuna identified as a straight female.

Emnine was never given that liberty. Not really. It didn't matter before. They existed to serve Sensei. It was ironic, actually, that they received a quirk that limited them by liberating their constraints. It made them adaptable.

Emnine was...

They weren't gender-fluid.

Well, they were. Their quirk gave them no choice in that matter. But they weren't.

They had a gender preference.

They just—-

They didn't remember what it was.

And every single time they felt close to uncover that piece of their identity it was stolen from them.

How could they differentiate between Izuna's feelings and their own?

What if Izuna had more influence on them then they originally thought?

...

They hated Uchiha Izuna.

They really, really, hated her.

"I am myself." Emnine said. "I am no one else but myself."

Emnine was more than a clone.

Emnine was Emnine.

They weren't Izuna.

They weren't Izuna.

Emnine was more than a copy, a fake, Emnine was their own person.

They could think for themselves.

(Then why is it all we do is follow orders?)

They could think for themselves.

(Liar.)
