Summary:
The story mainly revolves around:
~a 23 y/o Jannat
Being the eldest child and the sister of a mentally challenged little brother - Ali. Jannat's only purpose in life is to become a clinical psychologist, excel in her career and be her brother's guardian/caretaker.
She has always been afraid of losing her parents and being left alone with Ali and her younger sister - Zainab. Her only relief was the fact that her love and care towards her brother would present themselves as good deeds on the day of Akhirah (Judgement Day), and her Ali would would save her from the Hellfire.
For this reason, she dislikes the talk of marriage around aunties and her mom. She believes in love but always pushed the thought of finding the one Allah sent for her and get married because if she gets married, how will she take care of both Ali and her family?
But there are times when things get too difficult and she prays that Allah sends someone her way who could understand the silent cries of her heart and be by her side no matter what. Despite being very firm on her faith, her pain causes uncertainty about the acceptance of this prayer. (In Islam, we're supposed to ask for the impossible when we pray, as nothing is impossible for Allah).
Little does she know, how her beautifully Allah has written the acceptance of her Du'a and how her life will take a turn after attending her close friend's sister's wedding.
Author's Note:
I know this is a little long but I want it to be as clear as possible about the background of my main character. This story has always been at the back of my head and I've finally decided to pen it down. Please read and share and let me know what you think, thank you <3
