Jannat's POV:
Ever since we've started uni, we can't find the time to hangout as often like we did back in high school. So we always cherish the little time we get to spend with each other.

I'm a psych major in my last year and Zahra is a year 4 medical student.

Though our fields are technically different, our values and ultimate goals are very similar. Zahra wishes to specialise in psychiatry and is as concerned and passionate about the topic of mental health as much as I am. She sees her career in medicine as a service in the way of Allah, just like how I feel towards my aspirations in psychology. May Allah grant us the ability to aid, may He put healing in our hands, Ameen.

*iPhone ringtone rings*
I snapped out of my thoughts as I saw "Jaana <3" on my phone.

"Why took you so long?!" complained Zahra. "

"Sorry! I just didn't realise my phone was ringing for so long", I replied embarrassingly.

"Uff, kya hoga tumhara (oh what will ever become of you)", Zahra sighed.

"Anyways, what I was desperately waiting to tell you was that my Api (older sister) is finally getting married! And you have to attend!! I can't wait to get matching outfits with you, get our henna done, and sign our lungs out at the dolki! We're going to have so much fun!", Zahra said without giving me a chance to reply.

After being on call for about 2 hours, we finally hung up and I was still smiling brightly, as I should hehe. It was such a good news, I usually avoid big gatherings/parties but this one is and exception. Zahra and I have been friends since high school so we are very close to each other's families. Fatima Api is just like an older sister to me so this wedding is going to be very fun, InshAllah!
