Ida went upstairs to see Clada. "Hey, Clady. What are you doing?" Ida asked as she went near Clada who seemed to be playing with wires.
"We made a very small, flying spy camera with a microphone to spy on the Dark Town and the DTs. So that, we could get to know their plans," said Clada doing some technical work on the camera.
"Oh! That's a good idea," said Ida, taking a look at the component sheet of the camera.
"It's ready now," showed Clada.
"That's great," Ida said.
Pensy was looking at the Lolite mountains in the live map.
"Something has gone wrong in the Lolite mountains. It should have got the Grape lake and the Lola flowers by this time. We have seen every place there, using our drone. But, it doesn't have got them yet," Pensy told the girls as she got up from the chair near the large monitor screen.
"It may be due to some climate changes. I guess so," said Liza.
"It may," Ida said.
"We will wait for a couple of weeks for them," said Pensy.
There wasn't any threat from the DTs that week. Everything was going fine. The Team-G would gather there and have some chats and glance over the threats and attacks they have gone through since the DTs return. Meanwhile, Ida had been taught some skills and defence by Dannon. It brought them closer than before.
The holidays were extended for another week as the renovation dragged on longer. Ida was going to the BcHaven city everyday during her holidays which made her leaving her assignments undone.
Knowing that, Dannon helped her in completing them every evening at Ida's home. Sometimes they may finish their work and get to the Lolite mountains and spend some time together. Ida became familiar with the places in the BcHaven city.
One similar day, at the BcHaven city, "Where is your family?" Ida asked Dannon.
"They live in LA. But, I don't get to meet them often as to make them live safe from the DTs. I make sure that my works don't affect their living," Dannon said with a dejected voice while a teardrop fell on his cheek.
"Oh! You sweet creature," Ida paused. "Don't you miss them?" Ida asked him knowing his answer.
"Very much," said Dannon. "I get to meet them once or twice in a year. That too secretively. Those days would pour me with happiness and it fills the void in me," Dannon bemoaned.
"They are lucky to have you as their son, someone who tends to help others sacrificing his own contentment," said Ida in a low soft, sweet tone.
Ida and Dannon were walking in the foothills of the Lolite mountains. Ida fell over a large broken tree branch which wounded her on her right arm. Dannon picked her up and took her to her room through the portal.
"Where can I find a first aid kit? Cotton or band aid?" Dannon asked Ida, hurrying.
"In the bedside table cabinet," Ida pointed the grey cabinet near her bed.
He plastered her wound with a band aid.
When Ida went to have her supper, "What is the plaster on your hand?" asked her mother.
"Nothing mom. I just got scratched against a jaggy wall," she lied.
"Why can't you be careful, Ida?" mom asked, looking at Ida's arm.
"It was just a small one, mom," Ida turned aside.
"Okay. Let us have dinner," said mom, grabbing a chair from the dining table for Ida to sit.
