Long time no see

4 years later

~time skip... 4 years later~

Kakashi's P.O.V

I woke up and seen Melanie on the other side of the tent. I started blushing, I started to remember what happened that past day.

~flashback~

Melanie was fighting one of the sound village ninja and I was fighting off the other. I used my chidori to kill the guy. He fell to the ground, dead. I waited for Melanie to get done fighting. I started to notice that she was getting tired, I started getting worried. The ninja got a kunii out and stabbed Melanie in the stomach.
"Melanie!" I yelled, she used a death jutsu and the ninja fell over dead. Melanie was holding her wound, I started running towards her. She blacked out, I reached her just in time and caught her.
"Melanie!" I said with her in my arms, she didn't answer.
"Melanie! Please open your eyes!" I said on the break of crying, still no answer.
"Melanie! Please!" I said, a single tear trickled down my cheek and landed on her cheek. She slowly opened her eyes,
"K-Kakashi." She said very quietly, I looked at her and hugged her.
"Thank god you're alright!" I said hugging her tightly, she sat up and I noticed that she was still bleeding badly. I took off the backpack I had and took out rags and bandages out from the backpack.
I started fixing her wounds, after I fixed her wounds I noticed that she was blushing. I started to blush as well, I stood up and helped Melanie up. We walked to base camp and went to sleep.

Melanie's P.O.V

I woke up and looked at Kakashi, I smiled and sat up. Kakashi was looking the other way, as if he was hiding his blush. I smiled and kissed Kakashi's cheek. His eyes widened and I could see his blush through his mask. I got out of the tent and went to the river to get some food.

Kakashi's P.O.V

I sat in the tent alone, blushing. S-She kissed my cheek. I thought to myself, I snapped out of it and walked out of the tent. I noticed Melanie wasn't there. I looked around, thinking she was playing tricks on me. But, I looked in every hiding spot possible, she wasn't in any of them. I started getting worried and walked towards the river.
I arrived at the river and noticed that Melanie was in the river. I started getting confused,
"Melanie?" I said, she looked back at me and smiled, "What are you doing?" I asked her confusingly, her face went dumbfounded.
"What?" I asked her again,
"I'm fishing. What did you think I was doing?" She asked suspiciously, I started to eye smile.
"I thought you was just swimming." I said, she shook her head,
"That's not what I was doing." She said,
"Oh okay." I said sitting beside the river, she went back to trying to catch some fish. I then noticed she was in her bra and underwear. I started blushing again, Melanie turned around and looked at me.
"Hey Kakashi, you wanna help me?" She asked in a really cute voice, I couldn't help it.
"Sure." I said, I took my shirt off and got in the river.
"You know what to do right?" She asked looking at me, I shook my head.
"No." I said, embarrassed by what I said.
"I'll show you." She said smiling brightly, I looked at her and smiled back.
"Okay." I said, she used her shuningun,
"You have to use your shuningun Kakashi." She said looking at me, I nodded and took my headband off my right eye.
"Okay. Now wait for a fish to pass in front of you," she said concentrating on the water very closely, "Then try to catch it." She finished with a smirk, I was confused. A fish passed in front of her and she dived in after it, and caught it. I was amazed! Her hair was dripping wet, she looked at me.
"Your turn." She said smiling, If I have to dive after it, I'll have to take off my mask. I thought to myself, I took a deep breath and took my mask off.

Melanie's P.O.V

Kakashi took a deep breath and took his mask off. I started blushing, He looks so hot! I thought to myself, still blushing. Kakashi looked at me and smiled,
"What's wrong?" He asked smiling, I looked away quickly.
"N-Nothing." I said trying to hide my blush, he chuckled. He concentrated on the water and a group of fish passed in front of him. He dived in after one fish and caught it.
"Good job." I said getting out of the river, he smiled and threw the fish on the river bank. We both went back to camp with the fish we caught and cooked them.
After we ate, we put on some dry clothes, Kakashi put his mask on, We started to pack things up and go home. We started heading towards the village, it started getting dark as we were half way to the Leaf Village. I looked up at the sky, the sky was filled with stars and lite up by the moon.
"Wow." I said looking at the breath taking, Kakashi smiled. I let out a yawn and Kakashi looked at me.
"Tired Melanie?" He asked me still smiled, I looked at Kakashi.
"A little," I said looking back at the stars, "But, I'm fine." I smiled, he smirked and walked behind me.
After a couple minutes, he picked me from behind.
"K-Kakashi! What are you doing?!" I asked blushing, he looked down at me. He smiled,
"You said that you were tired, right?" He asked, as his smile turned into a smirk. I felt my heart pounding like a bass drum was being pounded on.
"Well. Yeah." I confessed, blushing like crazy.
"Then rest. You need it." He said eye smiling, I cuddled into his broad chest and closed my eyes. After a couple minutes, I was asleep.
