Part 18: Reading

A/N: Did you guys watch Black Widow because it was amazing!!!! I loved it so much and Yelena is my new comfort character. (Don't worry, I'm not spoiling anything). Anyways sorry I haven't been posting a lot. Im on vacation and have had no inspiration to write anything. So, I'm sorry if this chapter stinks, but I hope you enjoy.

"Alright I'm confused." Wanda said as she walked into her brothers room where she was surprised to find him reading. He looked up from the book and gave Wanda a confused look.

"What?"

"Tony gave you permission to ask out Sky two weeks ago. What's taking so long?" Wanda asked her brother.

"Nothing, I'm just thinking."

"For two weeks?"

"Yes, I need to make sure when I ask her it's perfect and that our date will be perfect." He told her. Wanda sighed and sat down at Pietro's desk.

"What are you reading, better yet, why are you reading?" Wanda asked, eyeing the book in Pietro's hand.

"Red Queen." He answered. Wanda raised her eyebrow at Pietro. "Sky was reading it a while ago so you never know when it might come up."

"Pietro you know she reads like a different book everyday. Reading one book that she's read probably won't do much." Pietro shrugged and continued reading. "Ok, just...just make sure you don't wait to long, alright." Wanda told him. Pietro nodded and she left.

"I did something wrong, didn't I?" Sky said out of the blue. Wanda looked over at her friend who was in the process of putting a book mark in her book.

"What are you talking about? You put down the book, it must be important." Wanda commented.

"I thought me and Pietro were getting really close again and now he barely talks to me. He's always in his room." She complained. "He tells you everything, what did I do?"

"You didn't do anything, I promise. He's just been busy." Wanda assured her friend. Sky nodded, not fully believing it. "Why don't you go talk to him?"

"I...I don't want to—"

"No, you should go and talk to him. Now. Like now, now." Wanda said basically pushing Sky off the couch.

"Ok, ok I'm going." Sky said before she fell. She glared at her friend before brushing herself off and walking out of the room. She walked up to Pietro's room and stopped. Last time she came up to his room to question their relationship, she found out Pietro had a girlfriend. Hesitantly she knocked on the door. Before she even pulled her hand away, his door was open. She forgot about the super speed.

"Hey Sky." Pietro said, seeming confused about why she was standing at his door.

"Hi." She replied just as awkwardly.

"What are doing here?"

"Uhm...well I was talking to Wanda and she told me to come here and so I did and I'm not really sure what I thought was going to happen...I'm rambling." Sky said her face turning red. Pietro smirked at the girl in front of him.

"Do you want to come in?" Pietro asked opening the door wider." Sky nodded and walked through the door. Sky looked around, she hadn't been in Pietro's room in a while. It looked pretty similar, it was cleaner that before and he had a bunch of books on the shelves. She smiled at all the books and then looked to the open book on his bed and smiled even wider. Pietro noticed what she was looking at and quickly picked it up and dropping it onto a pile of other books he had read.
