Josephine entirely let her slip fall at her feet. She bent over the river, allowing her hand to touch the water. As she bent over, Kidd couldn't help but take a peek of the view. Slowly he turned so that he could see what was on the other side of the tree. She spotted her ass as the morning sun shined on it. He also saw her crotch from between her thighs. It caused a stir in his trousers. The blood in his
body began to rush. She hopped into the river, then squealed out because of the cold water hitting her. He watched, wondering if he should assist her. Folding her arms over her chest, she tried to become accustom to the temperature. Then, crouching down, she began rubbing her hands over her breasts.
Kidd adjusted the band of his trousers as he watched. It didn't help. She was far too beautiful as he watched. It caused him to immediately become hard, his cock prominently poking in his pants. He couldn't help but continue to watch her hands move over her breasts, down her stomach, between her legs.
Josephine felt his eyes on her, and quietly, she didn't mind. In fact, she welcomed the thought of him watching. Something about him saving her from danger was very erotic, and so she allowed him to sneak a peek. Of course, there was a possibility he wasn't watching at all. But still, just in case, she played up on how she washed herself. Her hand lingered over her pussy as she cupped it, allowing the cold water to rush against it. She scooped water into her hands and slowly allowed it to drip between her breasts, dripping down her body and scattering into her mound, tickling her clitoris.
His eyes burned into her, and she wondered too much if he was looking. Then she couldn't help herself, she felt the urge to look in his direction. Right when she began lifting her head to look that way, he hid himself behind the tree again. With an exhale, he placed his hand his pants, hoping his rod would once again become flaccid.
She figured she made a mistake, maybe he wasn't watching. So she simply continued washing herself off. Her hands ran across her skin as she scrubbed herself. She wished she had soap, but she made due with a smooth rock she found in the river.
When she was done, she realized she'd made a mistake. She stood there, wet and cold, without anything to dry herself with. She covered her nipples that became swollen and hard from the shock of being cold. She crossed one leg over the other to slightly conceal her mound. "Kidd?"
"Are you done?" He asked as he began waking front he tree.
"No!" She shouted out, crouching further. "I'm not done. I just need something to dry myself with."
"Well what do you think I have? A towel?" Kidd asked as he attempted his best to not look in her direction.
"Maybe a cloth? I'll make due with what's available. Just dry the important bits." Josephine asked. He searched in his pockets, which just so happened to be filled with things he swiped. They clanged with jewelry, watches, pins, and more. Until finally, out came a lady's scarf with lace trim
"It was from a lady of society." He said as he nudged it toward her as his hand extended behind him. "That should work."
"I suppose it will." Josephine slowly took it. She still didn't feel comfortable using someone else's handkerchief, but she knew it was her only choice. After wiping it on the important areas of her body, she put on her clothes. Then she handed it back to Kidd. "I haven't any pockets. I figured you should keep it."
"After you've used it? It's fine, it's all yours." He told her. She looked away for a moment, and he quickly stole a sniff of the cloth.
"Did you? Oh, I saw that!" Josephine playfully slapped his arm. "I'll take that."
She took the cloth from him and tied it around her afro, creating a puff around the top of her head. Kidd thought it was a fitting style to wear, and further accentuated her beauty.
"There. Problem solved." She told him. Then she began walking toward the city as though she knew her way. "Come on, what's keeping you?"
"I'm coming! Slow down!" He tried to catch up with her. Together they walked into the town of Port Royal. Josephine held tightly onto his hand as they once again tried to maneuver the crowds. She took a good look at everyone as they passed. People from all colors and statures were present. Poor, wealthy, black, white. People attempted to sell things to them. Josephine being from the country was truly amazing by the bustle of the city.
"Well what is a fine brown girl like you doing in a place like this?" Asked one vendor. "How would you like the greatest of Italian lace?"
"How do you have this?" Josephine asked out of curiosity, turning to feel the lace.
She felt a sudden tug on her hand, and it was Kidd reprimanding her. "Do not talk to strangers. I beg of you."
"I suppose you take me for a child." Josephine told him.
"You surely act like it." He grumbled as they walked together toward the sea.
They finally made it to the seaport. It was full of life, cargo coming on and off ships, people chatting, bars with the doors open showing men drinking and playing poker. The smell of the salty air was welcomed over the rancid smell of the city.
Josephine was suddenly snapped back to attention when she was pulled by her waist. Kidd pressed the small of her back to bring her closer to him.
His eyes stared into hers. "I'm going to contact my crew. You don't walk off, you don't talk to anyone, you don't try to buy what they sell you. If someone recognizes you from yesterday, which I doubt they well, you call my name. You stay by this street lamp. Got it?"
"I've got it." Josephine nodded. Kidd walked off to find his ship. Josephine leaned on the wooden street lamp as she casually waited for Kidd to return.
"Such a beautiful girl you are. Free or owned?" A man asked.
"Free." Answered Josephine.
"Is that so? Well that's too bad." The man frowned. He reached into his pocket and pulled out coins. "How can I convince you to share some time with me?"
"There is no price that could buy my company." Answered Josephine.
"Are you sure? You hardly can afford clothes." The man said. Josephine looked down at herself and back at the man, humiliated by his comment.
"These are not my clothes—" She answered, before he was pushed away. Kidd stood before Josephine, anger obviously on his face.
"What part of do not talk to anyone do you not understand?" Asked Kidd as he walked to her.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it." Josephine said as Kidd guided her. While he placed a hand on her back, he looked down at her. He wondered how she still managed to look so beautiful even after all she'd gone through.
"I just want to make sure you're safe. That's all." He told her. Josephine sucked in a breath when they approached a ship. There it was, the vessel that was to take her home. She was filled with both fear and excitement. Stress and relief.
In almost a natural reflex, she reached out and squeezed his hand. Usually, Kidd would quickly move his hand in a refusal to show true affection. But he allowed her to. It's okay because of all she's gone through. He thought to himself. That was surely the reason.
