Sage POV

I am currently sitting in the shower thinking about how I was woken up, so you know I was sleeping just laying there peacefully and I jolt awake by what seems to be a rapid beeping noise I open my eyes to find what seems to be a rabbit with wings instead of ears practically staring into my soul, when I tell you I almost shit myself, it's not a over exasperation.

I shook the thought out of my head when I hear Ivy scream at me "I NEED TO GET FOOD SAGE!"

After a few minutes I am changed and running out the door to catch up with a hangry Ivy. And yes hangry is a word, okay. It means someone who has come to the point of hunger where they just bully whoever speaks to them until they get food in their system.BUT THEN they have the audacity to act like they didn't just threaten your life after they have food. This is something that both Ivy and I get very badly.

Anyway back to the present I am now at the table we sat at yesterday, "What do you think we are doing today?" I asked Ivy when we finished our food.

"I don't know probably talking to people and getting to know the school." Ivy said.

In return I cringed and shivered dramatically, "Ew, I hate hormonal teenage boys."

Ivy just scoffed and was about to speak until we hear a voice behind us, "We aren't all hormonal."

I turn around to the voice and say, "How many times a day do you think about sex?" This caused multiple chokes on air and open mouths from the boys that have now sat around the tables, obviously not expecting that to come from my mouth.

"Everyone meet Sage." I hear Ivy say with humour laced in her voice and I winked at her with a cheeky smirk.

"Also today you are most likely going to get your schedules and then you will be told about The Dragon Trials." Jack said.

"What the fuck are the Dragon trials?" I said confused.

"I will never get used to that." I heard Oliver say.

"Used to what?" Ivy said.

"Well the girls at my village would never allow themself to curse or not be seen as a perfect princess and to be honest you two kinda scare me." he replied.

I smirked before saying "What's the point of life if you don't terrify people a bit?" This caused some gulps around the table that I had to hold myself from bursting out laughing, "Anyway, back on topic what are the Dragon trials?"

"They.. Um.. They are a set of tasks that you do to see how advanced you are in your magic so you can be placed with the right skill set of people." Nathan answered quickly. Ivy and I nodded before we all went back to eating and getting to know each other.

Time skip

After breakfast Ivy and I split away from the boys to explore a bit more, then at 12:00 we made our way to arena, it's the place where we all meet for important announcements or in this case to discuss the 'Dragon Trials'.

"Hello everyone, I'm sure you are all curious as to what the Dragon Trials are? So in detail there are levels, these levels show the school how far along you are with your powers or dragons. In total there are 5 levels starting at with elementals, if you are in level 5 if you can summon your element but can't control it in anyway, level 4 you can summon and control your element but can't use it to attack or defend yourself, level 3 you can use your element to defend yourself but cannot attack, level 2 you can use your element to attack but not defend yourself and level 1 is when you can use your element to attack and defend yourself. Is there any questions?" Headmaster Marcus asks.

"How do we even have powers now if we didn't have them after the Choosing Ceremony?" someone shouted.

"Your powers weren't fully awakened until you passed through the barrier." Headmaster replied.

"How will we even be able to use our powers in the trials?" Another person asks.

"It will come naturally, the Goddess has made it that way so it will be fair on your fellow peers. Any other questions?" Headmaster said.

When nobody said anything he continued,"It is similar for the dragon riders you are  level 5 if you can't get anywhere near the dragon and/or if it harms you in any way, Level 4 if you can calm the dragon enough that it will stay near the wall and show no intention to harm you, level 3 if the dragon shows interest in you but it won't let you touch it, level 2 if you can get close enough to pet the dragons head but it won't let you touch any other part of their body and level 1 the dragon will let you touch any part of its body. Any questions?" Headmaster says. After nobody says anything he continues," There will also be trials for combat and weaponry for that you will also be sorted into levels. Now that all of that is cleared up I expect you to be her tomorrow morning at 10:00." And with that he turned and walked of the stage.

"Well that is going to be fun." Ivy said while we were walking back to our room.

I turned to look at her before smiling and saying "Hell yeah it will be fun!" Before we burst out laughing.

Soon enough we made it back to our dorm,"Come Ivy, why don't we have a dance?" I said smirking at her before we both sprinted to the gym and jumped into the boxing ring.

"Let's dance, darling." Ivy said getting into a fighting position.

"Dance with me, love."

Sorry people for not updating I would make up an excuse but I'm just a lazy motherfucker. But I really will try to get better with updating also this is introducing the non original idea that I was given permission to use. The next chapter will be where everything start getting interesting...
