Glass shattering.. Wood breaking.. People screaming..

There were adults going for Izuku, the small boy's eyes were clouded in a dark thirst of survival. He wasn't thinking rationally.. Right below him was a dead man, his puddle of blood staining Izuku's bare feet.

It had been several minutes since the fight happened, Izuku was the only one standing in the tavern. Everyone else were dead..

Just as Izuku stabbed the last person with a large shard of glass, his eyes seemed to fade, as if he was now realizing the situation. Izuku's initial reaction was shock.. or at least, it should have been.

His eyes looked at the dead bodies, it was strange.. He's watched shows with people dying before, although that was in secret since he was just 5 but for some reason.. seeing it in real life was anticlimactic.

He knew that the one who killed them was him.. but at the same time, it didn't feel like him. It was more like.. an instinct to not die.

Izuku gazed at the body below him, the only thing he was doing was analyzing the situation. On one hand that wasn't evident on his face, he was freaking out since he killed people.. but on the other hand, his face showed nothing.

Izuku looked up, he heard footsteps outside. They were heavy sounding, most likely an adult. Izuku picked himself up and ran behind the counter, hiding, making sure not to make a single noise.

-1 year-

Izuku was roughed up, he had been in this hellish place for a year already. He stole, used his intelligence, acted innocent and survived. Although he was still rather weak being a 6 year old, he was determined enough to keep going.

His body was littered in bloody bandages that he wrapped up in a hurry since he wrapped them while running away from a store that he stole them at.

He had a tattered, black cloak on, it was the only thing keeping his identity a secret. People could tell he was small but most assume he was a small person. Not a child.

In the year, he had learned that this place was a small town with little security, multiple gangs, a small amount of adventurers, one or two knights that would accompany nobles from time to time.

It wasn't really that uncommon to see a few people die and get robbed in this place, a few slave traders too. Most of which, Izuku would often rob for food or money.

... Aha, bingo. Speaking of slave traders, there was a large wagon with horses. Stopping in it's tracks, giving enough time for Izuku to catch up and land on the roof without them hearing.

After escaping multiple life or death situations in the past year, he had learn to be silent. At least to an extent, peeking down from the roof, he noticed the adults were leaving the wagon. Probably to talk with a merchant about something.

Izuku dropped down and snatched a pouch of gold, inside the wagon. A child looking older than him cried out, probably begging for help but Izuku couldn't hear her properly. She did have cloth wrapped around her mouth.

Looking around, he grabbed the key next to the gold pouch and unlocked the door. Sure, neither his hands or actions were clean but he still had that small morality of heroes. He couldn't just leave them.

Now to rid of his traces. Izuku hid the gold pouch inside his cloak, carefully taking it off and chucking it in a small ditch. Sighing, he put on his act and started running to the merchant's door.

"Ne! Uncle! there's someone weird at the wagon!!"

He said knocking on the door, the merchant knew Izuku's face. The merchant knew him as the boy who was abandoned, always playing in the area. The woman had told Izuku before that she had 'trades' and if he saw something out of the ordinary, to tell her.

Both the slave trader and the Merchant walked out the door to see the wagon empty. "HUH?! OI KID, WHO DID YOU SEE!?" the angry trader asked, harshly grabbing onto the boy's shoulders.

"It was a big man with tunic.. hmm he had red hair! I couldn't tell what his eye color was though" Izuku said, the merchant patting his head "Gin, did you see anything else?" she asked as the small boy with green hair shook his head before nodding.

"Oh! he also grabbed a baggie!"

He said, the trader grew furious and went to find this 'red head'. The woman sighed "People are so incompetent nowadays, last month, the trader's wagon was unlocked and now some red head bast- uh bully, is getting in our way" she complained, rubbing her temple before walking back in her house.

Izuku looked around before running to the ditch where he threw his cloak. Crouching down to reach it, a round of clapping alerted the freckle faced boy.

"Wow! Roxie did you see that?! This kid's got guts!"

"Indeed, hm.."

Izuku looked behind him to see a male, seemingly his age with black hair that tinted blue, his electric blue eyes piercing the night sky.

The girl next to him who looked to be a few years older, had a small smile on her face. She had beautiful blond hair with mesmerizing crimson eyes. Both had fancy looking clothing.

Izuku cursed under his breath, he was caught.

"What of it" he scoffed, on guard. These two didn't seem normal.. whatever his standard of normal is.

The girl dropped down and walked towards him, now standing in front of him. The boy following close behind her, it reminded Izuku of a small puppy following it's owner.

Shaking the thought, he looked at the girl who had a smile that resembled a smirk.. but not quite.

"Would you give me some of your time and listen to a small proposal I have"

Her voice seemed elegant, soft and gentle, it seemed too mature for a girl her age. Not like Izuku could talk, he too was eloquent.

...

"I'm listening.."
