Chapter 12*

KATHLIN'S POV

I feel so bad for not telling her about me and Dana. I'm such a liar. I need to rethink my future and erase my past. I need to make things right with Joni again. I'm going to need Dana to help me. Even if it does involve seeing his beautiful face again. I pinch myself. "No thinking about Dana." I keep repeating.

*NEXT DAY*

"Tell me what you needed me for. I really need to get him." Dana seemed like what we we're talking about was less important than my sister-like relationship with Joni.

"I told her about last summer. And why are you in such a hurry?" I asked him.

"What! We agreed we wouldn't talk about it. She's gonna be really mad at me."

"Don't worry big boy, you can handle it. Now what's so important?" I said teasingly.

"Wipeout is on tonight and Gabe is a contestant. I need to see it."

"I will come too." I said following him. I quickly added, "As long as it's not a date."

"Whatevs," he replied, "the more the merrier." I wonder what he meant by that.
