Norton insisted on getting to Whitechapel as their top priority. Not a word of the saloon debut has been spoken between the two. Some things are better left unsaid.

And now he sits inside a train waiting for his last stop while playing with Brooke Rose, his lovely trusting owl. He was surprised to have found her when he awoke from his terrible headache a few weeks prior.

He hated that Brooke would always leave him at the most crucial moments. It stressed him out even when he tried to communicate with her, seeing without her threw him off.

"Do you think-" Eli took a moment to collect himself,-" do you think they'll be happy to see me?" He felt nauseous, what if they didn't want to see him, he did leave them without an actual 'goodbye' would they still be mad at him?

"Naib and Emma? I'm sure they will, why wouldn't they be,"Norton assured him.

"It's been awhile for some reason I'm awfully nervous"

"Typical, don't sweat it" he let out with a yawn, "And from the looks of it we're almost to our destination, although we should stop in town and restock on a few essential things before seeing the others"

"Yeah, I'm sure you don't mind if I explore the place a bit."

"Promise me you won't get in trouble.  Actually no, I'm coming, I don't trust you,"Norton warns.

"I'm no criminal. I just do as I please."

"You're a prick Clark," Norton wanted to protest but knowing the hard-headed man he knew it wouldn't work.

"Not just any prick, I am your prick," Eli chuckled as he poked his head out the window.

The sound of metal clashing together could be heard as the train made its stop to Whitechapel, voices of the people could be heard even louder than before. And looking out the window was a sea of people. Children could be seen playing by the station, some working, even begging at others for money.

"I've never seen so many people at once"

"You'll get used to it Norton, now time to settle at the Oletus department" he commented as he prepared for the train to stop.

"Huh? The what department?"

"Did you not listen the first three times? It's the department I used to work for, you know the one watching over London"

Norton bit his lip and furrowed his eyebrows ,"I was supposed to be listening?"

Eli let out a sigh as he took Norton by the collar hopping off the train. Releasing him once outside he gave the man a playful punch with his free hand. Brooke took this as her queue and perched herself on Eli's shoulder.

Norton blinks to adjust his eyes to the sudden change in brightness.

"One more thing Norton, careful about dippers, wouldn't wantcha money running away."

He nodded."Clark reason with me—I need to pick something here, if you don't mind showing around, that will help a lot. Specifically the post office?"

No words needed to be said, he signaled him to follow. The cold winds of London burned against his cheeks, besides living here most of his life he felt at ease in this town, more than ever before.

He missed the buildings, the occasional street food he would gobble up before carrying out his assignments throughout the day, and even the midnight spews that would spark up near bars or restaurants.

The smell wasn't the most pleasant in this town but it brought back many memories.

He should visit the nearby park.
