As soon as I seen her I instantly froze. She was just standing there crying. "Nova? What the fuck are you doing down here?" I asked calmly. When she didn't answer I knew she was scared. Without even thinking I grabbed her into a hug getting the blood that was all over me onto her. She stayed quiet and just hugged me back. In that moment for the first time in my life I felt bad for doing my job. "Fuck" I mumbled leading her into another room. "Listen to me princess I'm gonna go tell Austin to make sure your friends get home safe, we're gonna clean you up and get you changed then I'll take you home and explain everything ok?" She still wouldn't speak. She's just nodded her head yes. Once I was out of the room I was greeted bye Tyler. "Hey boss you finished up down here" he said. Yeah listen. I need you to get this mess cleaned up in the next five minutes no questions asked. "No problem sir" he responded. And that was good enough for me to continue on my way to go find Austin.
Once I found him I briefly filled him in on the situation and asked him two make sure Nova's friend got home safe and to let them knew she was ok. He was confused but did as I said. I knew I could count on him. Once I finish talking to Austin I went downstairs. By this time it had been about five minutes and the mess was completely cleaned up and the body was moved. "Good shit" I thought to myself before remembering the situation. Once I got back in the room Nova was sitting on the couch starting at the door. She wasn't crying anymore so hopefully that's a good thing? "Hey" I said casually. She looked up at me with a blank stare. "What the fuck Stephen?. How? Who the fuck even are you?" She said in a low panic "Look I'm sorry I interrupted I was just using the bathroom. I can pretend I didn't see anything just please don't do anything to hurt me I.." I cut her off Listen I'm not gonna hurt you ok. I know you have a lot of questions. I'll tell you whatever you want to know but right we need to get you out of them bloody clothes so I can take you home. It didn't take long for her to agree. I grabbed her hand and led her to the elevator so no one would see us. Once we got onto my bedroom floor we got out of the elevator and walked into my room.
I got her into my bathroom and told her to get undressed and in the shower and I'll bring her clothes in before she's done. She hesitated but ultimately decided to do what I asked. I waited until she was in the shower before taking her in clothes so I didn't see anything she didn't want me to. It's bad enough she just seen me kill someone 30 minutes ago. I don't wanna scare her anymore. While she's in the shower I waited on my bed for her to get done. Once she excited the bathroom my eyes were locked on her. Wow. I thought she looked good in that damn green dress?. She looked so much better in my shirt.

She really is so beautiful. "Are you ok?" I asked trying not to scare her. "Yeah I feel a little better now" hearing that made me relieved. "Ok I'm going to take a quick shower when I come out I'll take you home." After she nodded in agreement I got my clothes together.
While I was in the shower my mind kept fucking with me. I've never let a female come between me and my work ever. This has never been a problem for me. If she would have been anyone else I would have just shot her. Just so I didn't have to deal with this. "Shit this isn't good." I thought to myself. I was soon taken out of my thoughts when I heard my phone ding signaling me that I had a text. Ignoring it I remembered I needed to get out there to Nova. I quickly finished up showering and got dressed.

Once I gathered everything I needed I walked into my bedroom to find Nova passed out on my bed. Fuck bro. How did I even end up here. It was a normal night of me handling business. How did she manage to get in the way of that. I've never had anything get in the way of my business. This girl has literally been here a month and she's already causing me trouble. I thought to myself. After awhile of me sitting in my chair reflecting on the night I've had I decided to go make sure everything from the party I didn't get to attend was all cleaned up and all of my man were good for the night.
Once I knew that everything was ok I headed back to my room to check on Nova. When I entered I seen she was positioned differently. She must have gotten cold because now she was snuggled into my blanket on my pillow, on my side of the bed. Great I hoped she would have been awake by now so I could take her home."Ok so two firsts in one day. Fucking awesome." I thought to myself. If you're wondering what I mean well I don't "sleep" with women. I might pass out for a few hours in a bed next to them after fucking them but I've never laid down and fell asleep next to anyone really. Especially not in my bed. Up until tonight I'm the only one that's ever slept in that bed. I rarely bring girls home for the night and if I do they always leave before I go to sleep. I don't like that lovey-dovey bullshit.
Tonight should be fun. I thought to myself as I looked at the time and took my shoes off to get into bed. "3:06am" I didn't realized how tired I was until I hit my pillow. After about 10 more minutes of me overthinking this bullshit I finally fell asleep.
