It gets a little awkward for her as she wasn't expecting this and that too quite directly from his mother..
"Woh Aunty..actually abhi toh baas internship hi khatam huyi hai..I think I will take some time..aur Sidharth ne bhi toh ek important project liya hai abhi abhi..yeh bhi toh busy rahenge.."..she moves her spoon quite hesitatingly on her plate, expecting Sidharth to back her up. Sidharth, however, on the other side, felt an abrupt response from her end but didn't react though..
"Lekin beta kaam toh hota rahega..life mein settle hona bhi toh zaroori hai na..?"
"Ji Aunty main samajhti hoon. I genuinely understand your concern..lekin Aunty main Punjab chorke yahan aayi hoon only to build my career and shadi is a big responsibility.. moreover, khud ki identity bhi toh zaroori hai.."
"Toh tumhe kya lagta hai..hum tumhe kaam karnese rokenge?"... Sidharth speaks up quite bluntly..

"Nehi nehi Aunty.. please don't be..yeh baas ek khawaish hi hai samajhlo aap..I need to work hard for this..so isiliye I need time.."
"And why do I not know about it?!"...he asks her sternly..!
"Sidharth humne kabhi is bare mein baat hi nehi ki! Moreover, pehle hi itna sab kuch ho gaya, I mean too many blunder happened regarding my internship..so maine socha ki let me start the processing and I will let you know eventually once I start! Aur mujhe laga ki aap toh kabhi inkaar nehi karoge, because I know you are equally passionate about work!"

"Ab kya bolun main?! This is my dream Aunty. I hope you are understanding..I don't mean to put you down"...her eyes almost well up..
"Areh nehi nehi bachha..Maine toh baas aise hi puchliya..it's absolutely fine..if you two are happy and taking decisions mutually, then I have no issues.."
Sidharth gets up and walks away without finishing his dinner..
"Sidharth..!!"...Mom tries to call him back but he walks away without responding..

They are in the car, he is dropping her off..
"Sidharth..Kya ho jata hai aapko?! Baat kyun nehi kar rahe ho aap mere sath?!"
"Because there is nothing left to talk!"
"Areh what is this behavior Sidharth?! This is my career! How can I compromise with this?!"
"Who is asking you to compromise?! Don't turn things the way you want!"
"Then why are you reacting so much?! Aur aap toh mujhe drop karne bhi nehi anewale the! Driver ko boldiya abruptly! Woh toh Aunty ne kaha phir jaake you agreed! Itna over kyun karte ho aap?!"
"Kya?!! main over karta hoon?! Great! And what about you planning things at my back?!"
"Areh! This has been my plan since long now! Even before we met! C'mon Sidharth!"
"Sana...! Apply and go wherever you want! End of discussion!"...he exhales hard and keeps driving..
"Ok..hum is bare mein baad mein baat karenge.. abhi aap mood sahi karo!"...she tries to hold his arm from her side to diffuse his anger..
"Leave me!"...he jerks his arm to push her away..
"Sidharth! Kya ho gaya hai aapko?! Why are you behaving so weird!"
"I don't want to talk about this anymore!"
They reach her place and she looks back at him as soon as he stops the car..
"Idhar dekho.."..she tries again..
"Jao! Go upstairs..It's late.."..he avoids the contact and looks straight instead..
"Please baby! Maat karo! Aap aise karoge toh my confidence, motivation, all are going to come to an end!"
He doesn't respond..
"Sidharth!"...she takes his name quite sternly now..
"What do you want?! Do you want to create a scene here in front of your society?! Because I will loose my grip anytime! So behtar yehi hoga if you kindly get off my car!"
Her eyes well up immediately, she looks at him for a while and gets off the car to walk inside..

It's 1 am..
He hates it when she cries but he can't help himself either..! He is too territorial to let his people be away from him! And when it comes to her, he anyway loses all his balance and logic, he tends to think from the heart more! Sana, on the other side, is too down and trying hard to sleep!
After a while, she gives up and decides to call him but he cuts the call and puts his phone onto vibration mode..
She texts him..
"I thought aap samajhte ho mujhe Sidharth! Aap hamesha kehte ho na that I am brilliant at my work! You motivated me to do better! Then how can you do this to me?! Please maat karo na Sidharth! Main aapko chhorke thodi jaungi! I will only be staying away for a while! My heart is always going to be yours! Don't do this baby! This will break me bad! Please baat karo mujhse! Let's sort it out!"
