A girl befriends a spirit boy. His compelling story drawing her in and taking its claim on her soul. She exists in 2018, he remains stuck in the 1800s. Yet, while his story corrupts their once bittersweet memories, turning them only into history. Hope has trouble believing his story and her important role in it. She was a lost soul, reincarnated from a girl with family secrets. While her life dances with love itself and the terrifying truth of her family in the summer of 1843. She has to juggle life as an Engineer's daughter and dodge the silent threats and rumours thrown aimlessly by strangers and her grandmother. And shall perfection only be of importance to her grandmother, the one with the deepest secrets? While love blinds her and the dangers of falling in love with one of her father's sustenance boys, a series of events take place in order to rid her of the mistakes she had made. Only in 2018 will she realise the things she had done were worth every second, even if it meant the death of someone she loved dearly.
