chapter 16

'what do you want.' they're the last person you wanna see right now.
'to talk' a cold, emotionless laugh escapes your lips.
'you had your chance to talk on monday' your venom laced voice making her back away slightly.
'i wasn't ready to talk then but now i am'
'oh you really think that now coz your ready i still wanna talk, well do i have news for you, i don't wanna talk, you can't just randomly come to my house just coz you feel like talking, that's not how it works, now politely please leave.' she make no move to leave.

'i said leave. i don't want to see you here again' you go to close the door again, this time you successfully close it. you lock it and walk away. a few moments later you hear knocking, you look through the peephole too see that she's still there.

she knocks about a few more times and yet you still don't open the door. it starts to chuck it down with rain and loud rumbles of thunder echo throughout the sky.
you go to check through the peephole and...

she's still there.
out in the rain.

sighing you open the door and let her in, not saying a single word. she goes to say something but you stop her, not wanting to hear it.
'dont' your voice low and rasped but she hears it.
she looks don't at the floor suddenly finding the wooden panels so interesting.
you turn to go get her some clothes from upstairs, so that she doesn't have to stay in her soaked through with rain outfit.

you get back downstairs with the clothes and pass them to her. 'here, take these and put your wet ones on the radiator, they should dry. i'm going to go upstairs you do whatever you want, it'll be a while before the weather clears up again, don't disturb me' you warn her.
'thanks' she says 'but what if i wanna do you' she's so quiet you almost don't pick up on what she said.
you raise your eyebrow and she goes red, knowing you heard her little remark.

ignoring what she said you go upstairs, hoping she doesn't come up to bother you. you put on your music and lay down on the bed.

H had stayed downstairs for all the time she's been in your house, you find it a bit suspicious how she hasn't tried to talk... you go downstairs to make yourself some tea and find that she had fallen asleep on the sofa.
she looks so adorable, you get a blanket from the side and cover her with it, you debate in you head whether you should kiss her or not. you leave by giving her a very quick kiss on her forehead and go to the kitchen to make your tea.

eventually the storm passes but she's still asleep but you don't have the heart to wake her up, but you know that if you don't make her leave now, you won't be able to fight the urge to do something stupid.

you walk into the living room to wake her up. you shake her shoulders lightly. nothing. you try shaking a little harder. still nothing. frustrated and annoyed you grab a pillow and whack her with it. still nothing. you stare at her in disbelief that even that didn't wake her up. your running out of options, you get some water in a cup and pour it over her head. again nothing. you try putting on some really loud music and nothing. you know she's still alive because the rhythmic rise and fall of her chest when she breathes. you can't think of any other ways to wake her up so you just leave her be.

and then an idea comes to head, it could work but... it's not ideal. you walk over to her again and lean down, you press your lips against hers, you pull away once you feel her stir.
'ughhhhhhhhhhh, what time is it?'
'it's time you leave' a stern glare sent her way.
she gets up and goes to get her phone. you walk her to the door,'we still need to talk'
'no we don't' you smile and basically push her out the door.
'will i see you tomorrow?' hopefulness in her voice, you shake your head 'ermmm probably not'
you can see her heart shatter in her eyes and it takes everything in you to not hug her. 'oh ok bye i guess see you whenever'
'yeah bye'
