(y/n pov)

"britta?" jeff said.

she came out from behind the religion shelf.

ironic.

"theyre gonna surround you guys," she said quietly.

"and why should we believe you?" jeff questioned.

"oh why? because im a woman?" she said.

"no because you work for pierce, the who agreed to have us executed by city college," jeff retorted.

"i dont work with him anymore," she said. "but seriously, we gotta get out of here," she insisted.

"jeff, we should go," i said.

"why should we trust her?" he snapped back.

"well why should i trust
you?" i said.

"ive saved your ass the whole day!"

"correction, ive been doing the ass saving," i said. "dont act like youve been doing anything other than following me around," i said.

"yeah jeff, let women be leaders too," britta chimed in.

"im going with britta," i said. "anybody else want to come with me?" i looked around the room.

abed and troy started walking over.

"sorry man, y/n is right," troy said to jeff.

abed shot him some finger guns and stood beside me.

"ill let you come with but youve gotta trust me," i said. "im trusting britta even though she tried to steer me away from getting to know you,"

jeff eyes flicked to brittas. "you did what?"

"i didnt want her to get hurt, none of your girlfriends ever last and shes new and young, just your type,"

"ew, britta," troy said.

"its true," abed started. "the mean age of jeffs girlfriends is 25,"

"thats enough abed," jeff said.

i could hear footsteps coming down a hallway.

"weve gotta go, you coming or not?" i asked.

jeff nodded, his hair staying perfectly in place.

britta picked up a broom and nodded as well.

"lets do this,"

i pulled my gun from its place in my waistband and skipped towards the door leading outside.

(jeff pov)

she pushed through the door seamlessly and almost inaudibly.

britta held up the back of the group, sticking the broom shed picked up through the handles of the doors.

a redcoat came into view in the door, unable to push through the blocked door.

the sidewalks were quiet and the air was cold.

i could only imagine how y/n felt in the little clothing she was wearing.

however she felt, she didnt show it.

she didnt even shiver.

the full moon made her glow and she looked so much more mature than i knew she was.

she was hard to shake.

"jeff?" she said.

"yeah, whats up?" i asked.

"i hope we're still good, i didnt mean to get so intense,"

"its fine, its paintball,"
