Draco swung his legs back and forth. Living in the Malfoy Manor also meant living in the forest. Often at times when he was little, he would sneak out the manor and play in the woods with the dryads who were awfully friendly with him. The main reason why he went out so much was because he was A; claustrophobic and B; his parents argued from day until night.
For as long as he remembered, Draco had a fear of being locked inside a room. He'd always have the door opened or the window. Either way, it relaxed him. His phobia hadn't been triggered for quite a while and the first time it ever did, it was when he and Delia got locked in a cupboard by a few of the older kids. He had a complete melt-down and just started crying his eyes out.
However, Delia didn't treat him like a different person. She just hugged him and instead told him an embarrassing story about herself.
Anyways, the fresh air helped Draco a lot. He just wished Snow was with him right now.
Snow was Draco's personal pegasus. She was his first ever pegasus, going back when he was 11 and first saw the flying horses at the stables. He loved Snow back then and when they grew older, Draco proclaimed that Snow was his and Snow didn't object.
Groaning because he was bored out of his mind, Draco fell back and was now hanging upside down. Luckily, he had tucked in his shirt so it didn't fall over his eyes. But he did have to make sure his glasses didn't fall off.
"Why the fuck is today so fucking boring?" He mumbled, feeling the blood rush to his head.
Swinging back and forth a couple of times, Draco finally decided to sit back up when a raven just decided to swoop down on him and he felt his legs slip from the branch.
"Oh shit-!" He yelped and attempted to grab the tree branch but Draco missed.
But at the same time, someone was walking below the branch. And was completely unaware of Draco until he landed on him.
"Oh my gods, I am so sorry! Are you alright?! Did you break something?! Agh, who am I kidding, you probably did! Oh my gods, did you pass out?!" Draco started rambling and scrambled off the person, immediately shaking them back and forth before realizing and recognizing the jet-black hair.
Frantically and obviously in a panic, Draco began shaking Harry back and forth to revive him, if he wasn't already dead.
"Harry?! Harry, wake up, you're not dead!!" Draco had the urge to smack Harry across the face, but still continued to shake him back and forth.
"Urgh..." A gurgling sound left Harry's mouth making Draco sigh in relief.
Harry shakily sat up straight, his head bobbing up and down and his eyes occasionally just rolling around in their sockets.
Finally, he shook his head and managed to see Draco in front of him, worriedly waving a hand in front of Harry.
"Oh my gods, you're alive! Yes, I'm not a murderer." Draco smiled before fanning himself.
"Ugh, Draco...?" Harry mumbled.
He was still dizzy and his mind wasn't really processing correctly.
"Yes, it's me. Oh my gods, did I injure your head?! How many fingers am I holding up?!" Draco quickly held up two fingers in front of Harry's eyes.
"Two... God, my head feels like it's about to split..." Harry groaned and let his head fall back.
Draco winced, "I think you might have a concussion or something. Gah, I'm terrible at med stuff..."
Draco insisted that he took Harry to the infirmary to get checked, but Harry refused and instead said that he was fine.
"Draco, I'm fine... Really..." Harry groaned as Draco swung his lifeless arm across his shoulders.
Draco rolled his eyes irritatedly, "Harry, I know a concussion when I see one. I've dealt with way too many injuries and headaches to count."
Suddenly Harry's face turned icky and Draco knew what it meant. Quickly spinning him to face the tree, Harry had managed to hurl just before he could on Draco. Draco let out a sigh of relief and Harry wiped his mouth.
"Thanks..." Harry panted.
"No problem. You good?" Draco asked.
Harry rolled his eyes in return, "Like I said, I'm fine. You didn't damage my skull or anything."
Draco huffed and pouted, crossing his arms, "I fell on top of you, it's hard to not panic!"
Harry smiled a little, "I've only met you for a day and half, how are you already worried for me?"
Draco blinked and cocked his head, "Is it unnatural for someone to already be attached to someone else?"
Harry shrugged, "I don't know. I guess I'm not used to the fact that someone's already worried for me, regardless of how long I've met them."
Draco suddenly had a determined look on his face.
"Hey, wanna go to the lake? My siblings are occupied, and I was about to die of boredom." Draco invited.
Harry smiled, "Sure."
Draco grinned widely and smacked his shoulder, "Last one there is a rotten egg!"
And he sprinted off. Harry stumbled before blinking and staring at the track Draco had left. But then he smiled once more and ran after him.
"Hey, come back here, you cheater!" Harry laughed.
