Nyssa's POV:
I could barely stomach the sandwich my mom packed me. Today was the playoff game and if we lose this we could risk not making it to championships. I've been playing soccer ever since I was 5 it's one of the only things me and my dad ever bond over. Life at home hasn't been the best it seems like everyday it's a new argument between my parents. Sometimes I wonder if a divorce would make them both happier. I smile down to my moms note that she left on my sandwich. 'You got this! Go kick some butt baby. <3' Ever since I've been little whenever I have a big game my mom packs me a sandwich with a handwritten note. It's kind of a tradition. And since I've gotten older she insists on making them every single game but honestly I consider it a little good luck charm.
I return from my thoughts and I noticed that Althea and Veronika have joined me, Santana and Lizzie at our regular lunch table. I overheard Althea talking about this boy she met at the beach. "Guys I've never seen him before at school you guys have to help me find him!" Althea exclaims. " well how on earth are we supposed to find him it's not like we know everyone in Forks" explained Veronika " I know that but I have to find him he was gorgeous he had black hair and he was kinda tall and-" " Girl you had all that time to identify him but you couldn't ask for his name." Laughed Lizzie.
As they continued to banter I couldn't help but feel that nausea happened in the pit of my stomach as the minutes passed by. I locked eyes with Santana. " hey babe are you alright you look green?" said Santana. "Yeah just have a bit of game day jitters you know" I explained "here you should drink some water it'll make you feel better" smiled Veronika. She passed me the cool water and I gladly took it. As I felt the cool water run down my throat into my stomach I felt the nausea die down a little. The girls talked me down and told me that I'm gonna do amazing. I was starting to feel better and that's when I saw them.
A/N sorry that this is so short I'm still trying to figure out the story line but I also want to develop my characters so you get a feel of who they are. If you have any suggestions for what you want to see please let me know!!
