So heres my situation. Aneesah just upgraded her house when I got here and now it's a bit more complex but it's actually still quite homey. Two chairs and a table, neat. At least I've got a room of my own, no way I'm sleeping in her basement. I like it here. But her next joke....why? Why did I just...no. Okay that aside. Aneesah and I have been working well together for the most part. I've lived with her for a month now and we've added a sofa and a bookshelf. We also went traveling in another direction and came back with some more things. We found some cacti green, which was not fun for me to carry, let me tell you. I couldn't sit properly. I tried but ended up with a few splinters, which Aneesah had to help me with. That's not the only danger we've faced on our travels, skeletons too. I also helped her learn to fight a bit more, I'm surprised she help up against those drowned zombies. Oh yeah, there are also husks now. There's also this new type of food, berries. I wondered if they'd taste good if eaten with beetroot but my tall enderman like companion was against the idea. As it turns out, she does NOT like Beetroot. Oh well, we don't have beetroots in the garden anyways.

She's really been putting her new ability to craft new things to good use. She's made her own bed longer, queen sized aparently. She's made a table cloth, some carpet and she even made me us some blankets. Life with her almost cozy. Well, almost. I've still been getting nightmares about my past on occasion, about Fred's death. It's really making it difficult for me to make peace with my past. I'm trying to adjust to my new life but it's not as easy as I'd like. Tonight was no exception, seo I decided to stay up for the night. I don't know why of all the blankets I could use, I decided to use the turtle one. Well it is cute, plus I saw a turtle once and it was kind of adorable. But anyway, there I am, sitting on the sofa. I wrapped myself up in it like a child. I'm trying to meditate, maybe I can relax. But then Aneesah walked downstairs. She looked at me with a surprised confused look "Romeo..." She said, confused. I look at her for a brief moment before reverting my attention back to my conscious.

"What are you doing?" she asked. "Meditating." I say calmly. "Uh huh, wrapped up like a burrito." She says. Is that a saying? What's a burrito? Is it something from her world? It must be obvious how the gears in my head are grinding because she chuckles and sits next to me. "It's a flat bread like wrap with stuff in it." she explains. "Let me guess, can't sleep?"

How did she know? "I'm not THAT easy to predict, am I?"  I ask nervously. "Naw, I just had a feeling." Aneesah says with a shrug. "You want to talk about it?" "No, not really." I  lied. It would be great to talk to someone about these stupid bad dreams and get the whole thing off my chest but, I kind of don't want to freak her out with the whole Admin Concept. It'd be a lot easier to talk to her about it if she knew firsthand. She gives me another weird look, but this time it looks knowing. She pats my back, "Hey, take as much time as you need." "It's okay to be 'wrapped up' in your thoughts from time to time." I let out a light hearted chuckle. Okay, that one was actually a little bit funny. "Well, played."

Time passed before either of us speak up again. It's Aneesah who breaks the silence. "You don't mind if I sing for a while do you?" She asks. Well, it is a little quiet. If she knows any good songs, why not. "Eh, go ahead." I said awkwardly, unprepared for what I was about to hear.

"I've heard there was a secret chord""That David played, and it pleased the Lord"
"But you dont really care for music, do you?"
"It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth"
"The minor falls, the major lifts"
"The baffled king composing Hallelujah"

I never heard her sing before, it's oddly calming

"Hallelujah, Hallelujah"

"Hallelujah, Hallelujah"

My eyes started to get heavy, my mind starts drifting off. She kept on singing without notice. I started to lean on her, what am I doing? Honestly, I was almost too tired to care. Once she was done, I was practically half asleep, leaning against her shoulder. I think it took her a while to react, or maybe she took a moment to get over her rosey cheeks first. Eventually she picked me up and balanced me with her shoulder being used as a temporary pillow. I suppose she was carrying me to my room as I drift off hearing her whisper "Sweet dreams, Romeo."

(Sorry this was short, I just wanted them to have a little tender moment. Honestly, I was going to use one of the old islamic songs I'd sing as a child for the singing bit but the song hallelujah from shrek would probably be more understandable to most of my viewers, plus it's too iconic to scrap. g'night)
