Episode 20

Adah's pov:

Saturday was finally here as I had a pretty lonely Friday without Ji-na, I tried calling her but she won't pick up so I guess she needs sometime alone. Today HaJoon is carrying me to the doctor since I was still complaining that my hip was hurting, I refused but he insisted I should go so I didn't put up much of a fight and agree.

I wore a beautiful flower pattern dress, some two inch heel and a cadigan since the place was hot today. I didn't really wear much make up since I feel kinda uncomfortable wearing it in the sun. I then heard a car honk which indicated that HaJoon was here, I quickly grab my purse and necessities before running out.

"Hi, sorry for keeping waiting" I said as I entered the car "No you weren't, I just came here" HaJoon said "Because you won't stop walking around the damm house and get to the point" I looked at the backseat to see Na-ri.

"You should be grateful I allowed you to stay at my house last night after you came home drunk" HaJoon said "I knew you would let me stay because you love me" Na-ri said "Btw mom just texted and said buy her a barbecue grill, their having having  barbecue" Na-ri added.

"Ok, but she'll get it a little late cause I have to take my girlfriend to the doctor" HaJoon said "What happened to her?" Na-ri asked worriedly "She hitted her hip day before yesterday" HaJoon replied "And where were you?" Na-ri asked "I was in the middle of a presentation" HaJoon said.

After sometime we made it to the hospital. HaJoon already made an appointment so we didn't had to wait long, "Mr. Sung, sit here" the doctor greeted us "I'm Dr.Choi, so tell me what happened?" I took a deep sigh before telling Dr.Choi everything.

"I see you were trying to help a friend but hurted your hip in the process" Dr.Choi said "Can you lift your dress so I can see it?" Dr. Choi asked before I lifted my dress, she then pressed on my hip with her hand and it hurted badly.

"You received a very hard hit, let's do an x-tray to if there's any bone fractured" Dr.Choi said. After getting the X-tray we waited in Dr.Choi's office, she then came back with a paper in her hand "You didn't fracture any bones but because you hit the hip hard it gave you a very bad pain, so I give you this injection and some ointments to rub at night" I sigh in relief as Dr.Choi said I didn't fracture any bones.

After taking my injection like a brave girl, Dr.Choi then gave me some ointment to rub at night "If there's anything you need to come by" Dr.Choi said before I left her office. I didn't really feel any pain anymore so I was bouncing happily "You seem happier than ever" HaJoon said from behind me.

"I don't really feel any pain in my hips no more, thank you for bringing me here" I said "Anything for my princess health" HaJoon kissed my temple. At HaJoon's parents house it was crowded with new faces.

"Mom wasn't playing when she said she was inviting the whole neighborhood for barbecue" Na-ri said "HaJoon! You guys made it! Come my friends will be happy to see you both!" Mrs. Sung drag us to the backyard "Ladies this is my son HaJoon and his fiance Adah!" Mrs. Sung introduced us.

"He's so handsome now and his fiancé is so pretty, I can't wait for the wedding" a lady around Mrs. Sung's age said "Hey Adah! It's been forever since I last saw you" a girl which was unknown to me "Who are you?" I asked "It's me Wong Mi-rae from college" she said.

Then it clicked, Mi-rae and her brother Sang-tae were the only ones who talked to me in college "Hi, Mi-rae it's been long" I said shyly "Btw HaJoon is my cousin so were family" Mi-rae said, HaJoon's family tree is really confusing me "HaJoon! Bro we missed you!" A group of boys hugged HaJoon.

"HaJoon seems busy, let's go meet my parents" Mi-rae dragged me to a table "Mom! Dad meet Adah, my friend from college" Mi-rae introduced me to her parents "I remember how would talk about her, she's so beautiful" Mi-rae's Mom said "Adah! Let's play monopoly" Mr. Sung said.

"Sure but you have to teach me" I said "Adah! Is that you?!" I turned to my side to see Sang-tae "Yeah-" I couldn't finish my sentence as Sang-tae pulled me into a hug "You look so different but your still short" Sang-tae said "Ok guys reunion time is over! I have to teach my daughter-in-law how to play monopoly.

"Daughter-in-law?" Sang-tae questioned "She's HaJoon's fiancé now" Mi-rae said "Dad! I'm playing too" Na-ri walked in "Let's get started. Playing monopoly is easier than I thought, I was winning most of the time. We played monopoly and had all kinds of foods until night and Na-ri suggested we drink some Soju and I couldn't remember what happened.

HaJoon's pov:

It's been a tiring day, me and my friends from college were doing some sports and now we're enjoying some beer. I haven't been able to see Adah the whole day but I know she's playing monopoly with Dad.

Just then Sang-tae my cousin walked in with Adah who's drunk and couldn't even walk on her own "HaJoonie I miss you!" Adah hugged me but I noticed she wasn't wearing her shoes "Where are her shoes?" I asked "Here! We couldn't stop her from having five shots of Soju" Sang-tae said.

"I wanna go home and cuddle!" Adah said while trying to walk to the main door "Tell mom I left and I'll call her tomorrow" I said before leaving. As I came outside I saw Adah sitting on the ground "This is not a place to be sitting" I said picking her up in bridal style.

Getting Adah into the car was challenging but I managed. I decided to carry Adah to my house, as I entered my house I was greeted by my house keeper Uncle Lim "HaJoon, who's this?" Uncle Lim asked "My girlfriend" I replied before taking Adah to my room.

I then changed her clothes into something more comfortable before going and take a shower. After wearing some clothes I told Uncle Lim I'll explain everything to him in the morning, I layed next to Adah before slumber welcomed me with open arms.
