Wedding
"What did I say about beauty sleep?" I asked Bella as I applied some foundation to her face.
"Sorry, bad dream." Bella sighed. "It was wedding jitters."
"Do you need some help?" Rosalie asked, walking into the bedroom I converted into my closet. "I could do her hair?"
"Really?" Bella questioned. Rosalie smiled and approached Bella, starting to gently tug at her hair.
"Please. I'm not offended by your choice of groom." Rose commented.
"Just my blatant lack of respect for mortality." Bella stated.
"Essentially." Rose nodded.
"Weddings." I mused, grinning at the two girls as I hugged Rosalie. "They bring everyone together."
After a few more minutes of touching up Bella's hair and makeup, I finally stepped back and just looked at her with a small smile.
"Josie, Bella?" Renee called.
"In here, mom." Bella responded. I glanced over my shoulder and smiled at Renee as I stepped to the side. Bella made eye contact with her mother and Renee gasped.
"Oh my god, so beautiful!" Renee gushed. "Oh, honey. Crap, my mascara."
I pulled out the handkerchief I knew I'd need for this exact moment and handed it to Renee with a smile.
"Thanks." Renee smiled, dabbing at her eyes. "Charlie get in here!"
"You sure?" Charlie asked from down the hall. "I don't wanna..."
He walked into the room and Bella stood up, looking at her father in shock.
"I know." Charlie smirked slightly. "I look hot."
"We thought you needed something blue." Renee said, gesturing to the box in Charlie's hands.
"And something old." Charlie added, opening the box and revealing a blue diamond encrusted hair pin. "Besides your mother."
"Nice." Renee scoffed.
"It was grandma Swan's." Charlie informed as Bella grabbed the hair pin.
"But we added the sapphires." Renee added.
"It's beautiful, you guys." Bella said, examining the hair pin. "Wow. Thank you so much."
Bella handed the pin to me and sat back down.
"It's your first family heirloom." Renee spoke as I put the pin in Bella's hair. "Pass on to your daughter, and her daughter."
"Mom," Bella sighed, trying to comfort her emotional mother. "I love it."
"No!" I said, gently grabbing Bella's upper arms before she could hug her mother. "No smudging my masterpiece."
"She's right." Renee nodded, making Rosalie and I laugh. I went to open one of the wardrobes and gently grabbed Bella's dress.
"Okay, it's time for..." I trailed off. "The dress! Do you want to see it?"
"I want to see it!" Renee squealed excitedly.

After I got Bella dressed, I met Jasper and Bree downstairs. The people at the wedding wouldn't recognize Bree, as she had only been in Seattle for a few weeks before she was turned. Luckily, she hadn't met too many people in Seattle, so she could enjoy the wedding with her new family.
"You look beautiful, darling." Jasper complimented, offering me his arm. "Absolutely stunning."
"Thank you, love." I smiled, patting his chest. "You look handsome yourself."
