The Power of an Alpha

Prologue

           Today's the day I get my official rank in the pack and I'll learn if I have any special powers the other wolves don't have. My pack is special cause we're descendants of great and powerful witches and gods.
 
     The story behind our pack is Fenrir in human form would lure humans into bed and have sex with them, this often resulted in normal Alpha wolves both male and female. Though occasionally Fenrir would manage to get a witch into his bed, one such witch was Alexandria Malvasia Raine Petrose. She was the strongest witch of her time and wasn't simply lured into bed like those less powerful than her. For her she had actually fell in love with Fenrir knowing full well who he was. She knew about how he'd lure other women to his bed and that he was the son of Loki, the trickster god.
 
  Alexandria was no fool, but she fell in love with him anyways and didn't care whom he chose to sleep with. Together they had five kids. Alexander the first born was the first Alpha of the the White Moon pack, his bite, similarly to the other Alphas, sons of Fenrir too could change a mere mortal into a wolf. The second born was Tessa she was the first faerie she too could turn others into her kind with a single bite they took after their grandfather Loki in their trickster ways. The third was Fenrie he was the first vampire and he too changed people into his kind by biting them. The next two were twins Simone and Iredessa, Simone was the first incubus while Iredessa was the first succubus. Unlike their brothers and sisters they didn't change people by biting, instead like their father they lured people into their bed and had sex with them, their children would then become incubus or succubi.
 
  Alexander was my packs first Alpha, he was stronger than all of Fenrir's other Alpha children. He turned about 50 people into wolves each one became stronger than an average wolf and each one had some special abilities, but none were strong enough to reach Alpha level. Eventually Alexander slept with a powerful witch, who happened to also be his second cousin, the granddaughter of his mother's sister. She became pregnant with triplets all very powerful wolves. The first was Nicolas he was a match for his father and had the power to control the elements on top of all his other werewolf abilities. He became the Alpha once his father passed away. The second was Peterson he was slightly weaker than Nicolas Though still immensely powerful. He had the ability to control minds on top of his werewolf abilities. He became what they referred to as a Beta, second in command. Then came Marvin he was the weaker of his brothers though still strong, he became known as a Gamma, third in command. He had the ability to talk to animals, plants, and even the dead.
 
  Eventually the bloodlines grew weaker as humans started mating with wolves or omegas became mates with the alpha or betas. Or simply when one rejected the mating bond which always hurts the most because when an Alpha rejects the bond and ends up mating with another alpha who isn't their mate that makes the bond between parents and children weaker causing an interruption of power.
 
  So eventually the alpha children became weaker than betas or sometimes even omegas. So they devised a set of test that determines the new rank of a child once they gain their wolf on their sixteenth birthday.
 
  Today is my test I've been training for this day my entire life as have most other wolves. The goal is to train as hard as possible and develop your strength as much as possible before the day of your test cause even though birth rank plays a slight role in your true role it doesn't always limit you to that rank. Personally I was born at the rank of omega, but I'm able to compete with the beta children. Omega is the lowest rank unless they make you a slave which our pack doesn't do but many others do.
 
  Today is also the day when I can start finding my mate, though I won't shift until the full blood moon next month. Blood moons are a rarity, but if you're first shift falls on one it considered a good omen among our kind.
