The Power of an Alpha

Chapter 2

        ***Sierra***
   It's 4:30, right now I'm dressed in causal clothes for the first test, which is a written test, to makes sure you know the origin of our pack, about our abilities, and all things wolf related, during this test your wolf isn't allowed to talk to you and help you out at all, so they give you a sedative that puts your wolf out of commission for 45 minutes. Just long enough to finish the test. Next is the speech portion, it's to see how well you can talk to others and get them to back your cause which is definitely going to be my trouble area. During that test I'll change into nice clothes, after my speech I need to get changed into fighting clothes cause that's when the real fun begins and I get to beat up some pack warriors.
 
  When five rolls around I get injected with the sedative for my wolf. So they can no longer talk to me. Now I'm sitting at a desk in a large field. There's hundreds of people near by, though far enough away that I can barely see them that way they can't distract me from the test. I finish the test at 44 minutes, right before my wolves come back.
 
  Someone I don't recognize comes and takes the test from me and as soon as it's no longer right in front of me I feel Jayden and Charlotte return.
 
  Next is the speech, I've never been good with speeches, but I managed to get through it, only stumbling over my words a few times.
 
  Next it's my favorite part and that's the fighting part. I get changed out of my purple dress that I had on for the speech and change into some black leather pants, a black leather shirt and black leather boots. I feel both hot and like a total badass in this outfit. I absolutely adore leather. I also grab a few daggers that I attach to my black leather belt. The objective is to force your opponent into submission not to kill, but I love daggers and they can help draw blood if need be, I'll make sure not to kill anyone. Once I'm ready I head back out to the field.

  This girl so far seems to be doing really well. She hasn't heard anything about her results so far, but on the written portion she got a 98%, she only missed four questions. Her speech was also mesmerizing, though she stumbled a few times. It was about inclusion and how none violent rogues should be allowed to join packs. Now it's time for her real test, the test of strength.
 
  "Okay, Sierra doesn't know this yet." The announcer started, "but we'd like for some volunteers from the ranked members of other packs!" Ranked members? So the deltas, gammas, betas, and Alphas? Is that really necessary? I mean she's an omega. "This girl on countless occasions even without a wolf has proven to be strong and can even beat our beta." The announcer continued, "Of course since she has yet to shift if you choose to challenge her then you're no allowed to use your wolf."
 
  "I want to challenge her." Mel, my beta said from beside me. She's asking for my permission.
 
  "Delta John, Gamma Victor," I start addressing them, "do you wish to challenge her as well." I left my pack in the hands of their mates and my fifth in command, he's my top warrior and I trust him. Though I wouldn't usually leave them in charge, but I wanted my delta and gamma with me this time.
 
  "Yes sir!" They both said excitedly.
 
  "Alright then we're all going to challenge her." I said.
 
  "Anyone who wishes to challenge Sierra Raine Knight can start making their way down here to sign up. We will be going In order of rank, so delta's will be first, then gammas, betas, and finally Alphas, she will be allotted 10 minutes to rest after facing the Deltas, 20 minutes after facing all the Gammas, 40 after facing all the betas and 30 minutes after each individual Alpha.
 
  We hurry up and sign up. Many start to follow suit. In the end 12 Deltas, 8 Gammas, 5 betas, and 4 Alphas sign up, we all want to test her strength. Even the Alpha of this pack signed up. Though if she wins against him, she'll become the new Alpha of the pack so he is last and she'll only go against him if she wins every other match. Though she's no allotted too much time to rest over all so it's unlikely she'll make it that far.
 
  ***Sierra***
  I make it to the field and find out I'm going against ranked members from other packs. Twelve Deltas, eight Gammas, Five Betas, and four Alphas including my own Alpha, he's the last I'll go against and it's for the title of Alpha. No wolves are allowed, but there's nothing against special abilities, though I won't use any until I go against my Alpha.
 
  According to Charlotte and Jayden I need to be in sync with Charlotte to access the mind control powers, I need to be in sync with Jayden to access my healing powers, need to be in sync with both to access my elemental powers and once I shift for the first time I'll have access to my own special abilities if I manage to completely separate my mind and soul from both of them.
 
  As soon as they sound the horn signaling the start of the battles. I put up my hand to get the attention of everyone.
 
  "Okay I know you all think me to be a lowly omega and most of you can't wait to see me get beat to a pulp or want to see how strong I really am. And well I want to show just how strong I am as well. So Charlie," I address the announcer, he's also my elder brother and a pack warrior. "Bring out all the deltas and Gammas at once."
 
  You sure about this? Charlotte ask.
  She knows what she's doing. Jayden backs me up on this.
  I would have done this before even getting you guys. I know how to fight against multiple enemies at once. I say.
  Plus most of them haven't ever fought together so they'll be getting in each other's way so it'll be to our advantage. I told them.
 
  "Alright then you heard the lady! Bring out the Deltas and Gammas!" Charlie yelled, ever the professional, he knew I could handle it and had complete faith in me. He's seen me fight fifty warriors all at once before and win. I was fourteen at the time.
 
  Eventually all twenty Deltas and Gamma are standing before me looking confused. I feel my eyes shift color and everyone gasp as I sync myself fully with both my wolves.
 
  ***Delta John***
  This sixteen year old just synced with her wolf and her eyes turned two different colors. Her eyes are normally hazel from what I saw as I got closer to her, but now one eye is purple and one eye is red, even her naturally blonde hair changed color. The side with the purple eye turned from blonde to silver while the side with the red eye turned black. I've never seen anything like this. One side, the black haired, red eyed side has a more dominant masculine look to it, while her silver haired and purple eyed side is more feminine, still dominant, but it's a softer almost submissive type of dominance. Her confidence sky rocketed when she changed and that's saying something cause she already had a ton of confidence standing on the battle field. Is this what the White Moon pack really is? This power do all of them have this kind of power? Or is the girl just special somehow someway?

  She beat them, she beat all of them. Every Gamma and every Gamma defeated in ten minutes, John and Victor are the only ones that didn't end up in the hospital and that's cause they knew when to stay back and when to go in. It ended up being to her advantage having them all go against her in that way. They kept getting in each other's way and that was their downfall. She's smart. Next up is the Betas, this one will be harder for her I'm sure, if she chooses to go after each separately it'll take longer, but they also won't get in each other's way as much since there's only five if she goes against all of them at once.
  "Bring them out the Betas!" The announcer exclaims.
 
  ***Mel***
 
  I hear the announcer call for all the Betas, man this girl has spunk. I'm the only female among the five of us and I'm a lot smaller, though I could easily win in  a one on one fight with any of them but definitely not against all of them at once.
 
  I walk towards the field and instantly smell the most wonderful smell, it was the smell of roses and the forest with a slight hint of vanilla. Mate! My wolf Jayla yelled in my head. Aiden is going to be pissed that I found my mate before him. Me and him have been on and off since I turned sixteen 6 months after him. We originally thought we were mates but found out we were pretty quickly, though we still care and love each other.
 
  I walk farther onto the field and my eyes snap to the girl before me. Sierra, was her name. She's my mate and the most gorgeous person I've ever seen. Her hair is long, blonde, and curly. She's got a perfect hourglass figure, a bit skinnier yet more muscular that mine. She's got pretty big boobs I'd guess at least C or D cup. She's also go a nice ass. As she looks up at me I see her eyes are hazel a perfect mix between green and brown. She whispers something that looks like the word 'Mate', but I couldn't be certain on that. She's breathtakingly perfect.
 
  And now I have to fight her. Man this sucks.
