-Couple months later-

-Cindy's P.O.V.-

Nothing better than just chilling in the living room. I was so relaxed. I'm laying on my back, on the couch. The TV was set for YouTube, and playing The Neighborhood- West Coast.

Like always, I was thinking of Luke. It bugged the hell out of me. Sometimes I hate how much I care about people, especially for a guy I'm falling for. I guess it's not really something to hate about yourself , but you can definitely care so much that it's to a fault.

After that one date we went on another, like a month later. I believe in taking things slow and all, but it's dates in between months with non-stop flirting and lovey- doveiness. Why even continue to act like we're together, if we're not?? I just feel so strung along lately.

I don't even know where Luke is right now. I know Daniel and Jai are outside swimming. James Is upstairs working on beats, on his computer. Actually, I haven't see Beau or Luke. Maybe their out doing some kinda brother thing.

"RAWR." I heard as a body flew over over the couch and rolled onto me.

"OW! What the fuck Beau??"

"Hey Cindy." Beau waved, while wearing a cheeky grin.

"Uhhh Hi Beau. Is there some reason you're sitting on me??"

"Yeah, to annoy you. Is it working??"

"I was annoyed as soon as I saw your face." I smirked. Don't get me wrong, I love Beau. We just have a common interest of annoying, an being mean to each other.

Beau mouth dropped as he pretended to be in shock. "If you keep being rude, I want take you to your birthday surprise."

Oh yeah... Today's my birthday. I guess I kinda forgot.

I raised an eyebrow, "You have to tell someone Happy Birthday before just giving them a birthday surprise."

"The surprise isn't from me, and frankly I don't give a shit about your birthday."

It was my turn to pretend to be offended. "Fine see if I ever get you a birthday present ever again." I said before kicking him off the couch.

"Ow!" He let out.

"Ha! Karma's a female dog." I laughed before getting up.

"Oh whatever. Just go get ready."

"I don't even know what to dress for."

"Uhhh...dress comfy, but not too comfy. You don't wanna look lazy. So make sure you're still cute. Just like Shorts and a shirt."

I laughed a little at his explanation. "Thank's Beau. You've been a big help."

I walked upstairs to my room. I put on a pair of my shorts, and a tank top. I grabbed a cardigan and put it over my top, since I wasn't sure how warm it is at this mystery place we're going. I slipped on my black converse.

I went over to my vanity and set down. I looked in the mirror as I pulled back my hair. I was hoping to wear it up today, but something stopped me from doing so. It was the fact that the bruise on the side of my forehead was as big and black as fuck. I ran my hand over it, lightly, and sighed. I was going to have to cover this up.

I did my make up a little bit natural. Skin tone eye shadow, and mascara. I add some lip gloss to make it a little nice, since I still didn't know what I was dressing for. After that I worked on covering up my bruise. With every swipe of make up, I winced. It really hurt to touch. I decided to leave my hair down from the extra coverage.
