-week later-
-Luke's P.O.V.-
"WAKE UPPPP!" Was all I heard before I felt someone jump on top of me.
"Ump." escaped my mouth, and I heard the cutest laugh ever. If it was anyone else but her I swear I would have knocked the shit out of them.
"Good morning." Cindy said with her sweet voice, causing me to smile.
I laid there with my eyes closed for a few more seconds, not letting the smile leave my face. "What are you doing up so early?? I thought you like to sleep in."
I looked at Cindy who was sitting next to me, on the bed. She was really beautiful with the morning light shining on her.
"I'm just excited. It feels like today is going to be a good day."
I smiled, "It's already starting off well for me."
"Awe, well ain't you sweet." Cindy giggled. "Now get up and get dressed. We are doing stuff today."
I groaned, "Why can't you just be lazy like every other day."
"Because it's Saturday and I am bored and would love to spend the day with my bestestest friend."
"Well, since you put it that way." I threw my covers off my body and stood up.
"Yay!" Cindy cheered and clapped her hands.
"Now are you going to let me get dressed in privacy of my own room, or are ya gonna stand there and gawk at me." I smirked.
"Pst, please. Don't flatter yourself." Cindy stood from the bed.
"It's hard not to when I get to see my face in the mirror everyday."
"Yes I will take conceded ego maniacs for 200. Who is Luke Brooks." Cindy said, acting as if she was on the game show Jeopardy."
I pointed a finger and started counting "1...2-"
"Not moving."
"3." I said lunging at her.
She squealed and ran out the door.
-few moments later-
"HURRY UP. " I heard Cindy yelling from down stairs.
"I'M COMING." I yelled from up stairs.
"Finally." Cindy exhales when I make it down stairs.
"So I got a confession." I said.
"What's that??"
"If you weren't up by now, I was going to get you up anyway."
"You bitch." Cindy joked, "Why's that??"
"Well, You like Three Days Grace right??"
"Yeahhhhh." Cindy said with a questioning look."
"I know it's a a few months early, buuuut..." I held up two Three Days Grace tickets up. "Happy early Birthday."
"OH MY GOSH." Cindy's eyes went wide. She looked stunned, before letting a huge smile spread across her face. She took the tickets from me to look at them more closely. "No way!" She said covering a hand over her mouth. She started jumping up and down excitedly. "No you didn't! Oh my gosh, Luke. Thank you sooo much!"
I laughed and hugged her back. "Don't mention it. You know that other ticket is for me right??" I joked.
"Duhhh." Cindy rolled her eyes and hugged me again.
I hugged her again. I loved seeing her this happy. I'm glad I can make her so excited about something.
(quick note: If you seen the movie and thinking this might have something to do with Raise Your Voice, you're wrong. I think Three Days Grace is an awesome band, and I feel Cindy's character would be a huge fan of them for various reasons.)
