Chapter 6

Cindy's P.O.V.

I yawned and stretched out my arms. I could see the sunrise through the window of the lifeguard hut. I turned over to face a sleeping Luke. I snuggled into him, careful not wake him. I wasn't very successful. He wrapped his arms tighter around and kissed my forehead.

"You know we have to get up right??"

I shook my head,"No, we don't"

Luke chuckled, "Yes we do they are planning a party for your birthday remember??"

I looked up into his brown eyes, "You're so pushy." I joked.

Luke just smiled at me and kissed me softly. Might I say; Great way to start the morning.

I gave him and innocent smile, "Your breath stinks."

Luke let out a laugh, "So does yours. See, we have to go home and brush our teeth."

I giggled, "Okay, but you have to help me up."

Luke rolled his eyes, "Fine, Lazy." He said mockingly.

Luke stood up and offered his hand to me. I accepted his and allowed him to help me to my feet, and gracefully leaned forwards, wrapping my my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me up.

He then set me back down and kissed my forehead. Forehead kisses are my favorite kisses.

The party was in full swing, I was having a blast. I was dancing with one of my chick friends when someone pulled me off the dance floor. (Cindy is wearing the outfit in the photo, posted in Media)

I came face-to-face with my Daniel.

"So, my cousin has a boyfriend." Daniel said in the most girlishness he could muster, in sing-song voice.

"Yes, she does." I mocked back. I then leaned in and hugged him. "Thank you Daniel; for being so cool about things."

Daniel hugs back and shrugs, " Hey it would've happened weather I was cool with it or not."

I giggled, "Yes, but you being cool with it makes it so much easier."

Daniel smirked, "Yeah, I am an awesome cousin aren't I??" he arrogantly joked. He then looked at me and smiled, "Happy late Birthday, Cindy."

I smiled back at him, "Thank you, Daniel."

Daniel looked at someone that seemed to be from behind me. Two arms wrapped around my neck from behind me. I looked down and seen the tattoos I have come to learn were Luke's. I placed my hands on the toned forearms that were around me, and Luke rested his chin on my head.

"What's up, mate??" Luke asked Daniel.

"Hopefully nothing in your pants." Daniel smirked.

Luke laughed at Daniel's. "So care to escort a lady to the drinks with me??"

Daniel smirked at me, "Hey that's right. You, being a U.S. citizen, can now legally drink."

"What?? Me?? Nooo. You guys know I don't care to drink."

"Well you're giving a fuck today." Daniel said taking one of my hands in his and started leading me to the drinks. My other hand was holding Luke's as I lead him to the drinks, with us.

"How bout some shots??" Luke asked.

"Just one." I said holding up one finger.

Daniel nodded" Yeah, okay." He sarcastically said.
