"I still don't get it. Why do you want to go to the Space Beach?" Locus asked while dressing up for the occasion.
"It's calm and I like it there, I also might want to spend sometime with my friend. Can't I do that? Don't you like my company?" I said while making sad gestures.
"Honestly I don't"
"Rude". After that little talk Locus decides to prepare a few things for the trip since it takes a lot of magical power to go there and he might run out of it. While he does the boring stuff I start reading some books while sitting on his desk.
It was going fine until I see a photo on the middle of the book. The photo was very old, with a few burned parts and the ink looked like it was fading. The photo showed a group of kids and a few adult there, some posing, some looking like they were talking and some where doing neither of those things. On of the adults there was a red circle on his face while on the rest there was just a red cross on their head. I notice that there was something written on it , sadly I don't know what it meant.
"Hey Locus"
"Yeah?"
"What's this?" I asked while showing him the photo.
On a quick movement he took the photo off of my hand and while doing that he burned it "What the hell dude?! Why would you see my things?!"
"It was on the middle of the book that I was reading! It's not my fault I saw it! Most important why do you had a human photo? It wasn't supposed for you, Mr.Perfect, to not have it ?"
"That's not important to you. Now, come before I regret taking you to the Space Beach" he said while opening a portal.
"Fine! But this talk isn't over, space boy" I enter the portal while hearing mumbling about the nickname I gave him, and after a few seconds I see the so familiar landscape to me.
I walk over to the white sand while leaving footprint on it. Different from the Overworld, the Space Beach is very..."colourful". The sky is a fusion between purple, pink, green, blue etc with beautiful stars on it. The sand is fully white ,and because this is a cold place, the sand doesn't stick to your hands/feet. And finally, the sea. The most beautiful sea I have ever seen. They blue is very dark but the fish helps with seeing it, you see, they glow when on water. They are just like stars, when alive they glow, but the moment they start to die the glow slowly fades until they turn gray and finally die. But while they are alive you can see everything on the sea, and it's so damn pretty.
I slowly put my hand on the water and the glowing fish come to it, they start playing with my hand until Locus showed up and scares them.
"Can't you hide your face or something? You are scaring them"
"Do you want to go back?"
"No sir"
"Exactly, now shush and come"
I follow him to the place I wanted to come to, the Lighthouse. The reason I wanted to come there is to get something back that a little rat stole from me. More precisely , a necklace that gives me access to the Overworld and the chance to talk to the humans. It contains the left power for me to open a portal to the Overworld.
Now let's get it.
