The Afterlife

X.V-Dream

As I try to fell asleep , I feel my body getting heavier...and heavier...and heavier  and finally, I fell asleep.

It was dark and cold and I feel water under me so with a loud noise I wake up. I start looking around seeing nothing but darkness. 'Where am I?' I get up and see that I'm standing on a blackish green water. I stop thinking of it and start walking. I don't know where I'm going and I'm pretty sure there's nothing here but I still continue walking.

After some minutes of walking to nowhere I give up and sit on the water. I am tired and hungry so I do nothing. Right where I was about to just lay down and close my eyes, I see a light ahead of me . And in a jump, I'm running towards it.

As I approach the light I start hearing..things "Don't do it." "It's not worthy" "Don't try and find it" "It's disappointing" I try and ignore the voices but as I get closer they get louder "Stop!" "You will get hurt!" "Don't be stupid!" The water around me starts ""getting life"", it starts rising and getting the form of an arm.

It starts attacking me and I quickly dodge it. It keeps attacking me till it succeeds and makes me fall. It grabs my pulses and ankles and while grabbing it, it turns into handcuffs making me not able to use them. I start moving around trying to get these things out of me but i fail to do so and on a quick move I'm on the ground.

The water around me starts rising and pushing me down making me start to enter the water. I quickly realize it and start trying to get up but I ,again, fail and when I notice. I'm underwater.

'I can't die now, not now' I try to get out of it and in the process I end up stop holding my breath. I start panicking since I am drowning. The more I start panicking the more I drown and on the moment I use my powers and create a small lighting, making the water handcuffs disappear. When I notice it I start swimming as fast as I can to the surface and I reach it I start running to the light.

As I'm running the water starts trying to get me again and the voices get louder and louder "Stop!"
I'm almost there.."Stop!"
And I finally-
"STOP!"

'It's me?..'

When I arrived at the source of the light I see a silhouette. It is holding an angels hand and a demon hand. It has its back turned to me, when I go touch it to call it's attention the demon and angel disappear and when it turns to me I see myself.

But I'm different, I have longer hair and I'm using a plain blue long hair. My arms and legs are filled with bruises and my eyes are white. The eyes emit a bright white light which surprisingly don't hurt my vision. When it looks directly at me the water that was trying to get me stops and it turns to normal water. "Wow.." The thing gets closer and closer to me, I try to move back but I can't it feels like I'm suck even if there's nothing to stuck me there.

The thing takes one more step being close and in front of me, its arms start rising and with it the light behind it starts being brighter and when its hands hold my face making it look at them the light it's very very bright almost blinding someone.

"Wake up"

I wake up looking like I was trying to catch my breath.
"Finally you awake." Ozirafel says "Wh-What?" "Now get ready we have a long day in front of us"

'What..was that?'

A/n- This chapter is a mini chapter, thats why its 10.5, (yes I know that this is basically the same length as some chapters) it is kinda important to the story but not so much that will make a difference in it, the story would continue normally with or without this chapter. Also, from now on the chapters will have more than 1K words so it will take longer to do them. Hope you have enjoyed this mini chapter and more chapters will be out soon.
