CHAPTER ONE: UNCANNY LILIA
Inside the meeting room, all dorm leaders of the Night Raven Academy along with the new Ramshackle Head, Yuu was surprised when they saw Malleus. The head of Diasomnia Dormitory.
Like who wouldn't be?
Everyone knew that Malleus wasn't always there, when there's a meeting or other event like how he didn't attend the ceremony where the time of Yuu's arrival. Which is why, Lilia Vanrouge, Malleus's Guardian/watchman, was there in order to fulfill the missing absence of the Diasomnia Head.
A loud gasp could be heard, as their attention was stolen by which person who entered the room who happened to be the head master of the academy. They set their gazed at Crowley.
Their thoughts seemed to be the same.
"What a surprise you're here Mr. Malleus!"
Crowley beamed at the latter, who just stared blankly at him and nodded as a greeting, before taking a seat which Malleus didn't do since he and the rest had gone to a long staring contest.
"A-ano...Malleus-senpai..."
A timid voice and you could still sense the nervousness of whoever who called the Diasomnia Dorm Leader. Everyone looked at the Ramshackle Head who gulped as he and Malleus held an eye contact.
Before Yuu could asked, the lion hybrid interrupts. "Oi. Why are you here? Isn't supposed Lilia always attend?" Leona asked with a scowl on his face as he and the rest looked at Malleus.
"Do you not like it when I'm here?" Malleus retort back which Leona opened his mouth ready to answered yes without a hint of hesitation, but failed when Yuu covered his mouth as his words muffled through the palms.
"It's not like that senpai! We are just wondering where is Lilia-san."
Yuu quickly answered before removing his hand at the Head of Savanaclaw dorm, he along with his friends didn't spot the missing male in the academy which he got curious.
"I can't find Lilia earlier in the morning." The beautiful Pomefiore Head, Vil, stated which he got a nod from the male who had a fedora over their lavender locks who is Azul, a Dorm leader of the Octavinelle Dorm.
"Lilia is acting strange yesterday..."
A male with flaming blue hair, the Head of Ignihyde Dorm who is Idia, mumbled but enough them to hear. From what Idia had just said, it was true since they noticed Lilia's personality seemed to be off. The said male would panicked and even stutter, sometimes he would doze off in class and look through the window as his mind seemed to be somewhere.
Malleus usually stoic face was replaced with a raw emotion, which they could tell it's confusion and worry. "He said that he needed to go somewhere and it's really important." Malleus told them, he remembered how Lilia clasp his hands and looked at him with pleading eyes. He snapped out of it as he and the rest looked at the Headmaster who clap their hand to gain their attention.
"Well, let alone Lilia. Since you're now here Mr. Malleus, let's start the meeting."
