"How's you and Jungkook?"

"Nothing"

Chaeyoung raised an eyebrow, weirded at the respond until she studied the slump looking Haewon who appears to be always happy and energetic. Eyes blank, weak looking and no spark is enough to tell the woman that her friend is not happy. She is well aware at how  nice Jungkook treated her, and she had a feeling the two might be together some days later. Haewon talked about the man as if he was her lover which bought a smile to the brunette at how happy her friend is.

"Did you both fight?"

"If fighting allowed us to at least do the talking, then I'll rather it to be that way then the silence between us"

So she talked about their conversation at the orphanage before and how things went downhill to the point Jungkook no longer giver her smiles and hugs whenever they were close. He often locked himself in his room, and often times she heard the man coughing so bad, throwing up at night but she couldn't do anything. Even when she knocked the door as if she's serious about breaking it, shouting for his name like a mad woman but all she got a response was a weak 'I'm okay' and nothing happened after that.

She tried to gain his interest by talking about random topic, but the man would just give short answer before excusing himself from her. Now she's all alone, and she hated it. She was getting used of receiving his attention, she missed him now.

And if she really do treated him as a client, she wouldn't miss him.

"I'll say you are doing the right thing"

"What?"

Chaeyoung sighed before handling a document to her at the small round table of the coffee shop. She wouldn't want to break the happy moment they both shared, but now Jungkook and Haewon seems to be distant from each other she thought it will be now or later to break the news about the man another lie on their contract. A rule he had read and he agreed without hesitation. A rule he signed in front of them just to lie straight out of their face.

Chaeyoung had doubted Jungkook since the day he requested for Haewon, so she wanted to dig in. She ain't no spy, but the thing is the handsome cheeky Kim Taehyung keep coming to the company to flirt with her with no attention on renting a partner until he forgot the health report he left at her desk when he walked out from the company.

Jeon Jungkook medical report.

The woman feel weird about it so she quickly printed out a copy without even reading it, placing it back inside the envelope and just as she put it back at her desk the man ran towards her back with panic in his eyes. He was glad it was still there and quickly leave with the report, probably giving it to Jungkook at his home.

The truth was exposed to Chaeyoung, but she never tell anyone. Not even Taehee who had been asking for Haewon update because she's worried for the woman. Which again another reason for her to finally make Haewon realized she had to leave the man, before she is broken later because her gut is telling her that the both of them are more than friends now, and that is bad.

Had Taehee decided to end things by telling the HQ, it will be then end of Haewon career. For Jungkook, he will have to pay the summon but it wasn't a big deal for him. She was worried even after knowing Jungkook is sick, and can't be healed.

"He's sick, Haewon. He had violated this rule right in front of our face. I can't let this keep going"

"I know, Chaeyoung. I know"

"You know? Then why you didn't tell me? You should have reported the moment something was wrong so we can end this contract before things get worse!," She said in disbelief, mortified at how the woman kept it from her. How long has she know about it?

"Because it wasn't a big deal! He was just sick, Chaeyoung. I don't want to make a fuss about it and no one knew about the contract! If you are saying this is illegal, then explain to me how on earth did you get his medical report in the first place?," She backfired, hating how their meet up is getting tense and she could sense some stares towards their table when the woman raised her tone at her friend. This won't end well, she thought.

"Open the report and tell me if this isn't a big deal. Read it line by line and tell me now that what we are getting ourselves in, what you are getting yourself in isn't a big deal."

Haewon was reluctant to do it, but she did opened it and took out the two piece of paper which the name Jungkook came into her view first.  She read it line by line, heart thumping so loudly and the view in her eyes were getting blurry.

Suffered with a chest pain, blood vomiting and nose bleeding. Headaches, short of breath and dizziness. Patient is required to have constant medical check up and be admitted to the hospital , but refused to do so.

Confirmed to be suffering Coronary heart disease.

Signed and checked by, Dr.Min Yoongi.

It was the first report she read but she didn't say anything about it. It was the second that her hands trembled and a heavy weight stumbled upon her.

Patient is needed to be admitted as soon as possible. Symptoms are constantly coming, higher dose is given and blood pressure is low.

Patient approximately have three months by since the last check up.

Signed and checked by, Dr. Min Yoongi.

Three months. According to the date of his last checkup, he had been suffering with it from the past two months he is with her. That time she was assured it was curable, that he will be healthy again and they will end things nicely. She worked so hard to make him happy and healthy, just to know there was no point for that. Just what actually Jungkook is thinking when he lied again?

"Broke the contract with him Haewon, and let's forget this ever happened. We can delete his record and tracks and everything will be back together again. You hiding it from me and Taehee about his health is making me realize that this isn't just about the contract. Had you told us before hand, you won't be this heartbroken"

"Heartbroken?"

"Look at yourself, Haewon. Don't tell me you still see him as a client with that look of yours. Please, before it's too late, before you are the only one getting hurt by all of this, leave him."

"The problem is, Chaeyoung,"

She looked at her, the sadness and dejected written all over her face, eyes reflecting her own feelings but a soft sad smile canvased at her lips. A look Chaeyoung had known she is too late to make things right.

"I promised I won't leave him. I can't do that"
