Jungkook walked out from his room, sighing at how quiet it is when for the past two months it was full of laughter and joy in it. It has been almost a week they didn't talk to each other, it was obvious he was hurt by her and proceed to shut her off. Even so, he couldn't throw her away and cut off the contract. He wanted her to still be by his side even when they are no longer talking.

The man stepped into the kitchen, only to be surprised by her sitting at one of the chairs, blankly looking at a paper before her eyes darted to him, a look of dismay in her orbs as they met. The man didn't say anything, but she wasn't going to stay silent anymore.

"How are you?," She asked, voice hoarse as she just finished crying and if it wasn't for their silent treatment to each other, he would have bought her into his arm and soothes her with some words. Now, they both are still and stiff.

"Good. As usual"

"As usual? By how?"

"What?"

"As usual you mean, as you are dying isn't it?"

His doe eyes widen, mouth gaped and it was as if his world stopped. How did she knew? When did she knew? It was impossible for her to know about it as she wasn't the type to hired a private investigator for this.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb on me Jungkook! You know what I mean. Three months from now and you will be dead. Three months from now and everyone would mourn for you! And three months from now, I'm the one who will be leave hanging!"

"Why would you care about that, Haewon? You see me as a client, it's easily for you to throw me out than me who sees you more than just a partner I paid for. Whether I die or not, it's never your concern. Unless you are afraid of the consequences of me breaking the rules, then go ahead and report me. I'll pay for it," he said. Rather then getting mad, he was calm. He knew there was no use of getting riled up because the woman sees just as her pay check.

"You're right. It wasn't my concern. It was never my concern, but will it be when I lied about it?"

"Lied?"

"The first two weeks we are together, I did see you as my client. A man that would pay me handsomely for the service I gave. But when you treat me so nice, when you met my father , when you introduce me to your friends and tell me about your pain, how the hell did I still see you as client? I was never trained to be a partner who remained my work as a business and with every nice act you did, bold of you to assume that I didn't feel anything about it. What I said that day, was just me trying to keep it business when it has already failed the moment you tell me about your pain. So tell me Jungkook, is it still never my concern?"

He was dumbstruck, the pain in her eyes were so obvious that he hated himself to cause it. Her words remained in his mind, as he step closer to her who had already been standing the moment she speak and held her shoulder. "You lied about it?"

"Had you've been healthy from the first moment I saw you, I would kept my lie to you Jungkook. What good would it give to both of us when I still lie about my view to you and you lied about your actual condition to me?, if you could die any moment by now?"

Her tears had fall down to her cheeks when she say the word die, and Jungkook had brushed it away with his thumb before planting a kiss on her eye, stopping her from crying who is now starting to be an uncontrollable sob. It was painful to hear and he pulled her closer to him, his chin rested at the side of her head, soothing her with words and soft hush to stop her sobs. It was the first time she had cried in front of him and she cried hard.

"You should have throw me away, Jungkook. Why did you still keep me?", She said between her sobs and the man smiled, knowing well the reason he kept her.

"Because I am too attached to you to the point I feel selfish to let you go"

"And now, you are going to leave me"

"Not yet, love. Not yet."

There wasn't much he wanted to say, but there was a question hanging around now. Will she leave him now? Will she reported it? Will she break the contract and go back to her old life?  What will happen now?

"Then, are you going to leave me now?"

Haewon looked up to see his eyes which instantly dropped down at the thought. She had promised him to stay, but will it be the right thing? Will there still be hope for them? Will she let herself be broken if she choose to stay? Chaeyoung had asked her to choose about her decision wisely, but all she can think was how lonely the man will be if she leave.

"If you choose to stay, then stay. I'll kept this as a secret and continue with the contract. Jungkook medical report won't reach Taehee, and you will be his partner till the contract ended, which means when he die later. Think about it Haewon. I don't want you to be heartbroken later, so please for the sake of yourself, choose wisely"

"Do you want me to leave?"

"No, never. Please,"

The woman smiled before pulling him down so their forehead leaned to each other, eyes closed and their breath hit each other. "I won't. It's a promise"

"What did I ever do to have you in my life," he whispered before pull her back to his chest, hated the fact they are running out of time but still hoped they could together forever.

"Just what did I do be cursed with such a short life"

"Jungkook-"

"Can I just stay with you forever, Haewon? Because, that was what I hoped for us since the beginning, even in another life," he said and letting his tears drop to his cheeks. It was him who should leave her because now it was already too late. He will lost her forever, and if the deities are nice they may meet again in another life.

Or maybe, they have met each other before, long enough for him to pour his love and soul for her just to be given such short time for them to be together in the present.

"Please don't leave me, please"

I'm begging you, Lee Haewon.
