Chapter 16

*Anastasia’s POV*

I woke up still cuddled with Craig. Smiling to myself, I snuggled into him more as he kissed the top of my head. Oh, he’s awake. I looked up at my smiling boyfriend.

‘Morning beautiful,’ he said making me blush. No matter how many times I get complimented, I will always blush.

‘Morning babe didn’t think you would be awake before me,’ I teased.

‘Well, I guess I’m just excited. Gaby’s flying out with Caige and Leila. I’ve missed my kids,’

‘Oh OK, I can’t wait to meet them. They’re so adorable,’ I smiled at him but I was nervous about Gaby. They were together for a long time. What if sees her and realises he doesn’t really love me? Or will he cheat on me? I tried not to think about it when we both reluctantly climbed out of the warm bed and got dressed. I quickly ran a brush through my hair and left the room after kissing Craig goodbye.

The moment I open the door I see Emily and smirk.

‘Have fun last night?’ I teased winking. She blushed, ‘so what happened?’ hey, I was curious.

‘Uhm…well, we were talking about you and Craig and how cute you were as a couple. Don’t ask how we got on that topic. He kissed me and well one thing lead to another…’ I smirked at her again, ‘I’m just glad that it wasn’t just us Robert walked in on,’ I laughed remembering Robert’s facial expression.

We continued talking on the elevator to the lobby, waiting for the guys. Eventually they got their lazy asses down and we could find somewhere to get breakfast. We settled on Applebee’s and ordered. Kevin whispered something to Robert while looking at me and they both laughed so I through a bit of food at him. He tried to get me back but missed and hit TJ. Thus, a food war begun.

We were close to being thrown out when Craig stood up, brushing food off his clothes.

‘I better go to the airport and pick my kids. Their flight arrives soon,’ I smiled weakly at him and gave him a kiss. We walked out and we followed soon after. We were walking down the street, excluding Craig, when Robert’s phone rang.

‘Hello?’ he answered, ‘no Juliet…I told you no-…Juliet I said no…how could I-…Juliet! I said no! How could I just forgive you after what you did?!...no, goodbye,’ he hung up and sighed. He shook his head and continued walking. The rest of us stood still for moment; trying to figure out what just happened. We eventually caught up to Robert in silence.

About 10 minutes later TJ looked at his phone.

‘Craig’s back at the hotel with his kids. Come on,’  we turned around and walked towards the hotel.

*Craig’s POV*

Shitshitshitshit. Should I tell Anastasia? Or should I just not say anything and forget about it? UGH! I don’t know what to do! I looked over at Leila and Caige on the floor playing. I smiled at them. Leila looked back at me.

‘Are you OK dad?’ she asked. I tried to send her a reassuring smile.

‘I’m fine sweetie. Daddy just made a mistake,’

‘Everyone makes mistakes daddy,’ she smiled at me and continued playing with her brother. Finally the guys, Anastasia and Emily walked in. Anastasia walked over to give me kiss before I introduced her to my kids. She started playing with them so I pulled TJ away to talk to him.

‘Hey what’s up dude? Everything OK?’

‘Dude, I fucked up,’ I said quietly.

‘What did you do this time?’ he asked with a sigh.

‘Uhhmm…well when Gaby came over befo-‘ I was interrupted by Leila.

‘Daddy, how come you kissed Anastasia after you kissed mummy?’ Anastasia gave me a deadly look. Oh, shit.
