Draco: dinner at the Malfoy Manor

You and Draco were getting ready to go to the Malfoy Manor early on a fine Friday afternoon.

" do you think they'll like me? What if I mess up around them?? Do you think they'll like my outfit??"

Draco came over and grabbed your hands.

" babe, they'll love you. And if not, then that's on them."

He gave you a kiss on your forehead and went back to packing his clothes.

" I guess your right. Whatever, I'm gonna go get my trunk"

" ok meet you outside in 15 mins. Love you"

" love you too."

You then went back to your dorm and grabbed your stuff.

Draco was always so adorable around you and never thought of you as a "mudblood" even if you were one. He never treated you the way he did the others as he had

You said goodbye to your friends that were still at Hogwarts for Christmas and left the dungeon and made way to the courtyard.

As you made your way out you saw Draco saying bye to Crabbe and Goyle.

You walked over also saying bye to the pair and you and Draco made your way to the carriage.

" I know that you don't like admitting it, but you and those boys are true best friends" you said giving him a kiss on the cheek.

" I guess... but enough about me. How are classes going?" He said helping you into the carriage.

" mine are good. The only subject I'm struggling on is potions. I don't know but for some reason snape hates my guts."

" it may be that your friends with those disgusting mud bloods" he said in disgust.

" just because I'm friends with the golden trio, doesn't make me any less capable of making potions than the rest of you." You said slightly angry.

" I know. But I don't know why professor Snape doesn't see that. I've told him a billion times that your a good student but he still thinks your just a mudblood."

You started breaking down in the carriage unsure if Draco thought the same of you.

" oh y/n, I'm so sorry. He just a stupid teacher. Don't worry about it." He said giving you a hug.

" now dry those tears before we get here alright?" He said wiping away a tear the strolled down your cheek.

" thanks Draco." You gave him a kiss on the cheek and got your stuff to go inside

When you got to the front door you rang the door bell. At first dobby answered the door.

" oh hi dobby! How are you doing?"

You hadn't seen dobby for a long time. You'd only saw him a few times before with the golden trio at Hogwarts.

" hi. I am alright. How is mrs L/N?"

" I'm good dobby." You said giving him a hug.

Draco smiled at you and your love for all creatures. Although he never liked to admit it, he secretly loved dobby and when he could he would be as nice as possible.

Then Draco said hi to his mom. You were still hugging dobby and hadn't noticed that a beautiful older lady was staring at you.

" oh sorry 😅" you scratched the back of your neck.

She looked at you for a moment. You were very intimidated by her at first. And then as if on cue, she smiled really brightly.

" hi dear! You must be y/n! Draco's told me so much about you! Come in, come in!"

You immediately calmed down as you felt the comfort of Draco's home.

It was just as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside. You felt right at home.

Draco's mother Narcissa, set us down and went to go get some tea.

" so y/n, tell me more about yourself!" She said bringing some tea and biscuits.

You made conversation for a while and then you and Draco went to his room.

You'd never seen his room but you were surprised, it looked like a bunch of muggle stuff.

" hey Draco, what is all this stuff?" You said grabbing something.

" oh this is just all my things. Don't tell my parents. They never come up here and I don't want them to know I own this stuff."

You were kind of surprised that Draco, the person who acted all things muggle related, owned so much muggle stuff.

As you watched Draco fiddle with his muggle things, his mom called us down for dinner.

" hey how your hungry! We made your favorite ( your favorite food)!"

" oh my goodness it looks so good!" You said trying to figure out we're to sit.

You finally got a seat right next to draco.

He could tell you were tense and so he put his hand on your thigh. You immediately felt more secure with draco's touch somehow.

" dear! Dinner is ready!" Narcissa called out.

A couple seconds later and a man that looked a lot like Draco came around the corner.

He had long hair and it was the traditional platinum Malfoy hair color.

He sat down at the head of the table as narcissa sat down at the other end and the feast began.

As you all were eating you talked about school things and just small talk in general.

You thanked them for the amazing meal that the house elves had prepared and you and Draco headed off to play quidditch in the backyard.

Lucius came up behind his wife's shoulder and grabbed it.

" do you think she really is the one for him?" He asked narcissa questionably.

" I couldn't think of a sweeter, nicer, young girl."she said smiling up at him.
