You and the golden trio were making your way to potions when Draco came around the corner.

" ah there's my favorite trio!" He said sarcastically.

" oh and my betray full sister" he said looking me up and down in disgust.

" Malfoy shut it. Your just sad your not part of the group you twit" you said in anger.

After your insult Malfoy ran along and you and your friends made your way to class.

" that was brilliant, what you did back there y/n" Ron said with a smile on his face.

" yea thanks for sticking up for us, even if he is your brother."

" yea thanks y/n." Harry said giving you a side hug.

You slightly blushed at the action but Harry decided to ignore it.

After class, you all made your way into the gryffindor common room.

It was late at night and you all were in the common room, Tom and Harry sitting in the corner talking about the collectible wizard cards while you and hermione sat on the other side of the room near the fireplace and talked about your potions homework.

" what do you think there talking about over there?" You asked, trying not to sound weird.

" you know if you like him, you should just tell him how you feel instead of bunching up like you always do."

" ok so what if I do like him. And what if I tell him and he doesn't like me back huh? What then? It's not like he's price charming or anything," but I'm your mind, you secretly did really like him. You did think of him as your price charming and you were always to scared to tell him.

Hermione was right. You were being to harsh on yourself. You needed to swallow your fears and go ask out the boy you so desperately love.

" you know what hermione, your right. I think I just might go get myself the man of my dreams."

And with your shoulders back and your head held high, you pranced over to Harry and Ron.

Hermione smiled and sat back to watch.

" hey Harry?"

" yea y/n what's up?"

" can you come here for a second? I gotta ask you something." You started getting butterflies in your stomach as you pulled Harry away from Ron.

You could tell that Harry was anxious as well, not knowing what you were about to say.

" so I've wanted to tell you this for a while know, and I've been trying to find the right time, but it really never came around until now."

Now Those butterflies were doing summersaults too. You were so scared that he was gonna reject you. Be them without thinking...

" I really really like you" you blurted out.

" you do?!" Harry asked.

" yea... I'm really sorry if you don't I completely underst-"

Harry's face lit up with joy and without hesitation he connected his lips to yours.

You melted into his touch and the way you both moved in sync.

It felt perfect. Like everything you'd ever imagine your first kiss feeling like.

" I love you y/n"

" I love you too Harry"

And with that, you were never the same.

You and Harry officially started dating by the end of the night.

Hermione walked up to congratulate you on your big accomplishment.

" I'm so happy for you y/n" she said giving you a hug.

" well I only learn from the best. Also, you should take your own advice, then maybe we can all go on a double date sometime." You said winking to her.

She knew exactly what you were talking about.
