LEGACY

**I definitely preferred Pierce's red Toyota to yesterday's flashy Rover. The beige leather that his car was furnished with—a standard insulator—only comforted me even more.
Once I buckled my seatbelt in place, Pierce started the car and had me reiterate my schedule to him:
8:25 - 8:35 Homeroom (Eraser Head)
8:40 - 9:30 First Period: Hero Course Training/Lessons or Specials (Gym, Health, etc.)
9:40 - 10:30 Second Period: Algebra II (Ectoplasm)
10:40 - 11:30 Third Period: Japanese (Midnight)
11:40 - 12:30 Fourth Period: World History (Snipe)
12:30 - 1:20 Lunch
1:20 - 2:10 Fifth Period: Physics (Thirteen)
2:20 - 3:10 Sixth Period: Modern Literature (Cementos)
3:15 - Final Bell
I guess the only normal thing about U.A. is that all of the school day periods alternate on a daily basis. So if I had Modern Literature for my last class today, it would be my first-period class tomorrow.
But how the hell did U.A. students live through staying in the same classroom all day?! My only reprieve to stretch my long ass legs would be walking to Japanese class—which would suck since I'd be the only one in it—lunch, and maybe hero lessons or specials, depending on what class I have that day.
And then classes on Saturday!?! My schedule at C.A., my old school, wasn't even as rigorous as this.
First, U.A. deprived me of my right to wear pants and now they've stolen half of my weekends from me as well.
With a sigh, I tuned back into whatever Pierce was going on about. Something involving heading to the dorms after school and waiting for him there.
"Legacy, did you hear a word of what I just said?"
The use of my name snapped me back to reality and I started nodding my head automatically without any idea of what we were talking about. Well, what he was talking about.
Even though I was staring out the window, I could feel his eyes roll all the way to the back of his head.
"I said," he gritted through his teeth, annoyance creeping into his voice, "that you should really pay more attention to the guy who's handling all of your possessions later today."
Feeling guilty, I tore my eyes away from the window, despite the fact that we were almost there, and shifted towards him. He had my full attention now.
"Since you'll be living in dorms on campus, there are obviously some rules. First, curfew is six o'clock."
I stared at him in utter disbelief. Six???
"Yes. Six p.m. every day. And you're lucky it's even that with the League still out there. Of course, you can't go anywhere without explicit permission from Aizawa or Nezu."
I tilted my head to the side, surprised on that one.
"What about All Might?" I questioned innocently. "Wouldn't his permission be just as valid as Eraser Head's or Principal Nezu's?"
