Chapter 48

~Tori point of view~

I find Jeremy in the cave of Silas' tomb. He was Laying there dead on the ground. Elena was with me when she saw Jeremy she collapse next to him looking for a pulse and his family ring. When she sees the ring she think everything is Okay but since Jeremy was technically a supernatural been it won't work on him. He was gone forever. I tired to control myself but I cried my eyes out. Elena tired to comfort me telling everything will be Okay but I knew it was a lie.

Stefan comes in the a shocked look on his face. He goes back up and tells Damon what happened. Stefan said it must have been Katherine that killed him. When dud she get on the Island? And Why would she do this? For the cure? I guess so since it was gone. I want to kill her but knowing how old she is I wouldn't stand a chance.

Stefan pick up Jeremy body to bring him home.

I couldn't fell my legs so Damon carried me to the boat. "Thank you Damon."

"Your Welcome sweetheart."

"Shouldn't you guys tell Elena the truth?" I asked Damon in her ear so she wouldn't hear me.

"I don't think she would be able to handle it just yet."

I started crying again. I buried my face in his neck and he started stocking my hair.

Once we got to the boat he put me down and said he was going look for Bonnie. I wish he was coming home with us he was making me feel a little better.

(Later at the Gilbert house)

Stefan carried Jeremy body to his bedroom and lay him on the bed. Caroline was at the house, she and Stefan thinks Elena is in denial about Jeremy.

Caroline comes up to me and hugs me."How are you holding up?"

"Not good but at least I'm not in denial." I replied.

Elena comes downstairs saying Bonnie can do something to fix this. Caroline tired to Chang the conversation by asking about Katherine and the cure. I noticed a stench going though the house, I walk upstairs to Jeremy room. The smell was his body decomposing. I started crying even more. This was more heart breaking them knowing he will never wake up.

I sat next to his lifeless body and said, "Jeremy I'm sorry I couldn't save you, I should have been with you, I know this whole thing scavenger hunt for the cure was a stupid idea. If they didn't want to be vampire they shouldn't have drink human blood in the first place. They all had a choose in the matter and yet you were the only one suffered. I love you with all my heart and soul, you were my soulmate. you will be the only man i love until I die.... If only witches had a go back in time spell."

"That was beautiful Tori." Said Caroline.

I jump and wipe away my tears."you scared me and Thanks I guess." I look over at his body again. "Can't we just tell Elena the truth this is inhumane!" I yelled. 

"Elena not as well put together as you are, Tori."

"Okay." I hug her and we both go downstairs.

Damon and Bonnie come to the house and Bonnie said she can bring Jeremy back. I wasn't gonna bring up my hopes but I did Listen to her plan. She said that if she completed the expression triangle every supernatural been in the triangle will be brought back.

"Are you insane we can't bring all those supernatural asshole just to get Jeremy back." I yelled at Bonnie.

"I thought you of all people would be Happy about this." She replied.

"Yes I miss and love Jeremy more than the world but I have enough common sense to know that's the worst idea."

The house phone rang, it was April asking about Jeremy. Elena surprised everyone telling April he is dead. She quickly hang up the phone and ran upstairs. Damon followed her and they both came downstairs with Jeremy in Damon arms. Bonnie went home and Elena told Damon to put Jeremy body on the couch. She grad a bottle of lighter fluid and squirts all over the kitchen counter. Stefan tired to get her to stop but she keep squirting the lighter fluid all over the house. She put it on the couch and on Jeremy body. She took off his family ring and gave it to me. She was screaming and crying ready to burn down the whole house. Damon hug her and told her to turn off her humanity. The tears stop, she just stood there with a blank expression.

She took out a match and lit it. Before anyone could say anything she drop it on the ground. I couldn't move I was in complete shock. Damon quickly grab me and ran out the door.

"You fucking bitch!!!" I yelled at Elena.

"It's better this way." Said Elena with No expression.

"In what fucking world is this better?" I said. Damon gave me hug and carried me home trying to clam me down.

"You'll be Okay I promise." Said Damon.
